Saudi Monument to Allah Erected at the World Trade Center

A nine-foot sculpture has risen on the site of the World Trade Center terror attack of 9/11 in New York. It’s a Saudi Arabian ‘candy’ monument inscribed with the words, “There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is the prophet.”

Those are the same words used by the 9/11 terrorists who blew up the Twin Towers at that site. Most of the terrorists were Saudis and the government itself has been implicated at high levels.

Fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were Saudis, two were from the U.A.E., one was from Lebanon and another was from Egypt.

A Congressional Inquiry’s report refers to evidence of Saudi Arabia’s substantial involvement in the execution of the attacks at high levels of government.

The Saudi monument is one of the statues representing the 20 nations — the G20 — that artist Laurence Jenkell thought appropriate for his ‘Candy of Nations’, according to the Observer. The Port Authority of New York also thought it an apt piece to put on this location.

It celebrates Saudi Arabia’s place in the G20 Summit and was erected last week.

I lost people on 9/11 on that spot and I can’t even begin to tell you how I feel about this statue.

If ever a statue needed to be taken down, it is this one.

If this is true, it needs to come down...as it is an affront to America and the victims of 9/11.

But, the Saudi's got away with murdering Khashoggi. They'll likely get away with this.

New York is a craphole.

That monument to Allah doesn't make it any worse than it already was.

I've seen enough of New York City.

And there's probably no need for me to ever return there unless my job requires it.

It's America's bullseye, for our enemies to attack.

They've been hit more than once and it will happen again.

So I'm not anxious to be anywhere near NYC.

I definitely think the Saudis should have paid and not Saddam. But I don't think they had anything to do with the candy sculpture.

Located throughout the 16-acre World Trade Center campus, "Candy Nations" is a series of colorful and unique candy sculptures created by the French Artist, Laurence Jenkell and will be on display at the World Trade Center until February 2019.

"Candy Nations" has been shown in more than 25 countries around the world and was previously featured at the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Manhattan's Garment District. These nine-foot candy f**g statues provide a unique twist to the national f**gs of the G-20 participating members, including: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the UK, the USA, and the EU.

These 20 candy f**g sculptures and an additional four colorful candy sculptures will be on display in different locations throughout the World Trade Center including: the Oculus, the PATH Fare Zone, 2WTC T***sit Lobby, 4WTC T***sit Lobby, Oculus Plaza, West Plaza (outside of the One World Observatory), Liberty Park, and the Millennium Hilton New York Downtown.

The added info is appreciated, Moldy. But, I still think the inscriptions are in poor taste at that particular site.

Since the sculptor is French and this is his creation, I wonder if he had an agenda. He had to know it would not go over well. I also would like to see more verification of this. We could be, being manipulated since there is no other mention of this so far.

One of my 'Nam buddies could have lost his daughter in the World Trade Center disaster, but she had taken the day off for personal business.

As I suspected, gateway pundit clickbait failed to mention each candy is wrapped in the f**g of that country which includes the Arabic inscription.

I agree as this site is the emotional equivalent of a cemetery - would this art display be displayed at any other mass grave/monument where thousands of citizens of that country were murdered? Should (or was it) displayed at Pearl Harbor?

Thank You for this article explaining it.. Don’t care though.. Inappropriate and a slap in the face to all...

There should be no tolerance to such and should be a demand to remove it now not in February!!! What an insult!!!

I’ve been to the new world trade center both when under construction and when it officially reopened... Its a moment in feeling of pure anger and the sorrow of the attack itself... Read the names and visit the little church across the street from it that worked as a place to get wounded inside and you never forget it!!

I’m completely surprised it was allowed to be put up at all!!! Poor taste, no class and pathetic!!!
