There is always a crisis at the border, but a wall will not fix it. as was pointed out to him yesterday by the border agent. There are too many ways around the wall. It is useful in certain areas but useless in others. Sensors and drones make more sense in most areas.

You are not an expert, and I'm not sure to whom you are referring with "as was pointed out to him(?) yesterday by the border agent(?)". I've heard enough border patrol experts, including the guy who was in charge under Obama say that the wall/fence/barrier, not everywhere, but in many more places than it is now is an important part of the defense of our southern border. Sensors and drones notify - THEY DO NOT DETER! My father-in-law worked for over 20 years for the border patrol in El Paso after he retired from the Army as an electronics expert. He installed and serviced electronic sensors all over the area and even he said, that the sensors can tell you somethings up, but unless you have the manpower close enough to deploy immediately to the location - which they most assuredly do not, it's like the police getting the scene of a crime after it's been committed. They assess the scene, investigate, and if they're extremely lucky, they catch a perp. But as with the border, for every 1 caught several slip away.
