This is a hard question to answer since they have stood only for trying to stand in the way of Donald Trump. It has been hard to remember the days when they were anything other than obstruction experts, but Trump has been in office nearly 24 months and they have slipped a long way since he beat their heroine, Hillary in that e******n.

I always think about the old days when they were willing to try to act like a bipartisan group. However, those days were before either Chunk Schumer or Nasty Nancy were leaders of the party. Wouldn't it be something to have those two forced to become less partisan and more interested in helping the people of the United States.

I could go on and on but for what purpose when I read that democrats use to stand for something well they don’t only stand for something but they have to battle southern ignorance to facts that does get in the way of progress.

Democrats have shown repeatedly they have no integrity. You'll get the odd Senator or Congressman who does but that's rare - its rare in either party.

I remember when Reagan was president he and Speaker Tip O'Neil were friendly. When Newt Gingrich became speaker the days of reaching across the aisle were changed drastically. I remember those days and how dirty Gingrich got. The democrats were by no means lily white but Gingrich's actions changed politics for the worse.

1) Since when is gun control about keeping your guns?
2) Higher taxes do NOT help the middle class and small business. But higher taxes can help large businesses by clearing the field of small businesses.
3) Dems want to keep the exorbitant unaffordable Affordable Health Care, which not only was so costly but eliminated health insurance coverage both for those who could not afford the premiums and for those living where insurance companies left because they found it unprofitable to stay leaving some regions with NO authorized insurance companies at all. While Trump and his followers want those issues repealed as well as other restrictions. As for pre-existing conditions, it was when Obama began pushing for his health care plan that coverage for pre existing conditions began to be lost. A year-by-year analysis shows a significant increase in the number of coverage denials each year. The insurance companies denied coverage to 172,400 people in 2007 and 221,400 people in 2008. By 2009, the number of individuals denied coverage rose to 257,100.Between 2007 and 2009, the number of people denied coverage for pre-existing conditions increased 49%. 4) WE ALREADY use the most currently available high tech in border security. Giving amnesty will NOT solve anything!!!!
5) Under Trump more wetlands have been cleaned so far than all of the Obama years. Simply handing over more taxpayer's money will not necessarily accomplish the job. More money which is not spent effectively is not only a waste, but can actually cause more harm than no money at all.
6) SS has increased under Trump. As have services for veterans.
7) Giving parents a choice of public schools will only reduce funding to district based public schools if the district schools are under performing. Parents want the best education for their kids. Provide it in the district schools and the students and funding will stay there

Fighting back against wrong/evil is not the same thing as Progressive Parisian politics. I do not remember any Conservatives complain/admit that Newt made partisan politics uglier and nastier. There may have been some RINO's but who listens to them except Progressives? Quite frankly, it's past time for Conservatives to fight back as viciously as Progressives. Robert's Rules of Order do not work in an all out war for survival.

They weren't all RINOs and conservatives such as George Will and Charles Krauthammer were very critical of him.

I'm not for Conservatives to be vicious like Progressives despite the evil progressivism brings. The t***h stands on its own merit. If people reject it then so be it but that doesn't mean we give up. However, you can't force feed the t***h. I'm sure you must have personal experience with this if you've ever had conversations with atheists.

Sorry to vehemently disagree. 20 years in the military tells me that when it comes to defending our nation being passive means we loose. When one considers what compromise with Progressives has this far cost America, especially Christians, we have lost ground and continue to lose more every day. We need political and spiritual warriors. Unless, of course, one expects our Lord to speak for us from Heaven instead of we being His voice and hands here on earth. You forget that in a world awash with moral relativism and nihilism T***h has become far too subjective for many to grasp any absolute t***h.
