You are welcome. The difference is major and very important. Since we work with therapy dogs, an entirely different group of dogs all together, what the definitions are is important. The therapy dogs are not exempt from rules as to where they may go, as the boys do not need them in the same way a blind person needs his dog. They are there to be hugged, to sit next to the boys and allow them to cry and talk to the dogs and just comfort them and wag their tails and listen to the stories of what they have been through and love the boys no matter what. Too bad people cannot be trained to do likewise.
