If Pelosi and Schumer declared tomorrow that they had "seen the light" and were totally FOR building the border wall, you would be the very first to post on how vital the wall will be to our Homeland Security.

You lefties HAVE no opinions of your own, your opinion is what Pelosi and Schumer tell you it is.

You must be a mind reader. funny thing you rightys don't have minds of your own-- you just nod in agreement to your prophets and supreme leader.. You have no idea what I think. Hell if it were up to me I would invade Mexico take over their resources and I would move on through central America and it would be easy because they all want to live here any way. Any country opposing me would get a visit from our Airforce. Could you go along with that?

Its going to be a fantastic 2019 with all new everythings..

Be happy, smile just to smile and know your loved...

We do make a difference, be grateful for it...

After the wall?

I assume more stringent enforcement of existing immigration laws and (hopefully) eVerify...

Exactly why there is so much opposition.. It isn’t just the wall its revision of immigrations laws, DACA determination, etc..

Close them down, all of them and lets get this BS settled!!

No pay for any Federal employee, no leaving to go home at night/weekends/holidays etc!! There until resolved!!

Heck if I could I wouln’t give them water or food either... lolo ok, a bit too harsh???

I think taking away their food and water might be crossing the line...
Put them on prison rations... With a big plate of your baking just out of reach... Their reward after some bipartisan legislation..

I have posted many times that I am against a border wall. I would support stationing the troops along the border and giving them the authority, technically and legally, to use whatever means (even force) necessary to stop the invasion of the US by illegals, terrorists (even if only 6), criminals and gangs and drug smugglersering politicians, including trumpy, considered.

Stop the BILLIONS of dollars that are sent across the border every year.

Has anyone here or any of the blathering, lying, bought off politicians thought about what a wall would mean to their livelihood to be cut off from the Rio Grande to all the farmers and ranchers along affected areas? Oh yea, eminent domain to fv(k them out of their land.

Oh, but landowners are paid a fair price. BULLSHIT!!! How do you put a price on destroying generations of a lifestyle and a livelihood?

You yanks have no idea how disruptive a stupid wall would be!

First: I am a Canadian... Not a Yank... Canuck is fine... Or Iceback (Archie introduced this word into my vocabulary and I quite enjoy it)..

Second: It was a query... Hence the question mark... I perhaps misunderstood your post...

Third: I don't believe I have ever suggested that the government buying off land via eminent donain was a fair proposal... Your anger (?) here is misdirected (if towards myself)...

Fourth: While I (personally) believe a border walk is one of the more effective measures the US could take to curtail illegal Immigration, I can also acknowledge that you raise some valid points... I believe that various variations of the border 'wall' are being considered...

Hope I didn't offend you in any way...

Your friend, Kyle

My apologies, Canuckus Deploracus! However, I used your post as a springboard, I was not specifically directing my opinion at you.

Although, I can see where you would be offended by my calling you a yank, I, at that point was directing my post to others in general. My bad, as I can see where you interpreted it as directed at you. It was not.

Again, my apologies. I know I can get carried away with attacks on some here on OPP that desperately deserve it, YOU are not one at all.

They've been bawling like that ever since their criminal meal ticket lost the presidential election in November 2016.

Let's see, Republicans are being destroyed. That MUST be why 2/3 of the states are Republican controlled, why the President and the majority of the Senate have an (R) after their name. The temporary mid term loss of the House is normal. It happened to Bush sr, it happened to Clinton, it happened to W, and it happened to Obama. What you refuse to see is that this year's mid term flip of the House was by the smallest margin in the past four administrations. Most of the RINOs who lost their seats were the ones who were ambivalent on border security. I wonder what your talking (or rather, blathering) point will be in 2020, when Republicans regain the House, have and even bigger majority in the Senate and Trump is re=elected, and the current trend of firing Democrat governors continues?

The only reason the Dim-O-Crats didn't retain the House of Representatives was 29 or more Republicans retired or didn't run for reelection.
