Protestors Take Stand Against American F**g Ban

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday, not American. To forbid showing an American f**g just because Mexico has a holiday is outright stupid. If the Mexican students cause trouble over this, then maybe it is time to do something to them, not the American students. They are the one with the problem, not us.

This is what m**************m will get you every time. This is how our government is dividing us and in the end, we all loose. Expanding on culturals will only lead to raciest actions and open the divide between them. Instead of a melting pot, we now have a raciest divide between the different people and that will never work to the benefit of everyone. If this continues, pretty soon it will be illegal to show the American f**g any time in that area. If you really want to see where this is heading, just take a look at the Muslims and how they run their neighborhoods. You go in there and they will hand you your head in a basket.

Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, CA was in the news again as protestors sought to remind people that free speech is a basic American right. The school has banned the wearing of American f**g t-shirts on the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with the ridiculous action.

Back in February GOPUSA reported that Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled that the Morgan Hill school officials had the right to ban students from wearing American f**g t-shirts in the interest of student safety.

On the 2010 holiday, the court said, several Anglo students wore shirts that showed the U.S. f**g, and three of them were confronted by other students in the morning. Warned by students from both ethnic groups of potential problems, the principal, Nick Boden, told the youths to either turn their shirts inside out or go home for the day. Two chose to go home and were given excused absences, without punishment, while others complied with the order.

The lawsuit by three students and their parents relied on a 1969 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that upheld students' right to wear black armbands to class in a silent protest against the Vietnam War. But the appeals court said the 1969 decision allowed schools to limit student expression to avoid the type of disruptions that seemed likely in this case.

Now, with the same type of ban in place, local residents stood outside the school in a rally of support for free speech and the First Amendment. As reported by The Washington Times, "About 30 people silently held American f**gs outside of Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, the San Jose Mercury News reported. 'No trespassing' signs and a large fence now surrounds the school."

There are a number of issues going on here, and it comes down to basic American rights and what government (wh**ever entity that may be) is doing to infringe on those rights. A few weeks ago, I wrote about the "free speech zones" that were put up when people were protesting the actions of the Bureau of Land Management in Nevada. The claim was that limiting free speech to a certain area promoted public safety. Wrong! What it said was that free speech was not allowed in any place except that which is designated by the government.

A similar idea can be taken from this issue. In the name of "school safety," students are not allowed to wear American f**g shirts. So, they penalize free speech in order that kids won't become rowdy? Perhaps school officials should take a closer look at the security they provide in the schools. If the school can't handle students exercising their rights by simply wearing an American f**g shirt, then something is wrong with the school... not the students.

The more cases we have like this, the more the message gets spread that it's NOT ok to speak our minds.... that government knows best. This is exactly why we have the First Amendment. Whether we speak out with our voices or with a shirt or with a sign, Americans have a right to do so without interference from government.

The t***h here is that the old WHITE folk that showed up for this demonstration were ignored by the students and ridiculed by the media and public in general.

Funny how most of these fools resembled Clive Bundy and Donald Sterling

Let me get this straight, a minority of people have a particular opinion yet are not allowed by the majority to express that opinion.

Hmmmmm, try that one on some one like the black panthers and see what happens.

Silencing the opposition through intimidation, legislation, IRS or the courts is fundamentally anti 1st amendment wether you like what they are saying or not.

I can't believe this. 5 of May is a made up Mexican holiday. Celebrated in the US. Several years ago some people at a Mexican Restaurant ran the Mexican f**g up their f**g pole in Reno. The TV folk were there commenting and filming when a guy walked up took the f**g down and left. No one phucked with him story over.
If kids in a school choose to were t shirt honoring the red, white and blue with yellow fringe on 5 of May. The principal stopped it trampled on their rights to stop a demonstration. To protect students, no to stop a confrontation between to groups and he picked the wrong side to tread on.
Like the officials in Dearborn, MI.

You seem to be ignorant of the facts and use your supposition in error. Listen to what Mr. Bundy said not what a third person edited for you to listen to.
Donald Sterling got in trouble because his free speech was recorded. It was repugnant in today's society of politically correct. I dislike what he said.
A white billionaire talking reprehensibly about millionaire persons of color in the NBA. He lost story over.
