Howdy y'all.
We're in Vegas for the New Year's celebration.
While me and The Angel were spending a quiet cozy Christmas at home this year, we got a call from my brother-in-law who lives here in Vegas.
He owns several automated car wash facilities and lives in a magnificent place called The Turnberry Towers.
He invited us to come celebrate with he and his wife, so we loaded up the truck and headed west.
We stopped in Albuquerque and spent the night with my 96 year old aunt who is as spry as a mountain goat and sharp as a tack.
We arrived yesterday afternoon and after a great steak and a good night's sleep we will attend church services with them this morning.
Later today I will post a few images from The Turnberry, and a few images of the action on the strip.
On New year's Eve I will try to capture a few images from the celebration.
We've experienced Vegas many times but never on New Year's Eve.
So I bid you Happy New Year my friends and may your cup runneth over with blessings in 2019.
( Below is a shot of Turnberry Tower One that I took from the ground floor pool area. And below that is the New York strip that I devoured immediately after taking the photo)

Have fun my friend. I lived in Vegas for five years
and New Years can be really wild.
The best part of it was New Years morning. I could take the family to
a casino for breakfast and the roads were pretty much empty!
