Why does the GOP never want to discuss jobs.they filibuster the American jobs act they filibuster the highway bill they distry unions which is the largest population of middle class. They refuse min wage. They don't want immaggration reform. They distroy public schools. They want to take public tax $ and give it for profit schools and they call Obama a solcialist. They want public funds to subsidies oil companies and commercial farmers and they call Obama a socialist. They subsidies large corporations. They refuse to discuss income in e******y. They love v**er suppression and they say it is to prevent v***r f***d no evidence. Why happened to the GOP that I was a part of for the last 35 years.

Congratulations this is one of the most clueless posts I have seen here. The GOP wants to ignore jobs. Intelligent statement. The conservatives in the GOP do not believe government creates jobs. They just shuffle money. If you said the GOP doesn't believe government should create jobs you would be right. Less government interference and a flatter fairer tax system with no corporate welfare or any welfare for that matter is what most conservatives are for. The highway bill. What bill? You mean another Obama Democrat stimulus bill. That worked out great before. Much of the price of a gallon of gas goes to the feds for wait, here it comes, highway construction and maintenance. Until the bureaucrats who run these government agencies can show us why they need more money and where the money they have received has gone why would we give them an increase? Just how did the Republicans destroy unions? Unions themselves have caused their downfall as much as politicians. They are not the largest part of the middle class anymore if you take out public sector unions. I can tell by your post a discussion of the pros and cons of minimum wage are beyond your comprehension, but hey we had .1% growth last quarter, great time to artificially increase wages. What is immigration reform to you? Why reform something if you cannot first stop the very influx of people you are talking about? Another great idea of you Democrats. Public education sucks and we spend more per student than any other country. Solution spend more. Gee I wonder why for profit schools do so much better than public, if you mean charter schools. Oil companies pay way more in taxes than most industries in the US, however; they should not get government subsidies. Like I said a flat tax. Everybody pays, even you. V**er suppression. You should realize that it has nothing to do with lack of concern for the issues involved, they do care. What they will NOT tolerate, is anything connected to Obama's agendas. They will patiently wait, and hope, that they will gain control soon - and then screw things up their own way.

as would I, schools are supposed to be financed by property tax so that makes schools a county function with a small portion going to the state so how did the federal govt. get their nose into it

I just wish that there was some way to get to you on your facts. So I will do it for you. Breakdown of public school money. Local tax money 44% State money 48%. Federal Money 8%. Also that 48% from state goverment is subsidies in the form of federal grants to all stats as neede they apt for additional funds from the federal goverment.

Are you totally out of touch they don't force anybody they require a certain standard of education to assure everybody had an equal opportunity at a decent education. Can you imagine rich town and a town with poor and minority that work at Walmart. So just think about that this country is built on equal opportunity for a decent education for all people .
