I spoke with BearK, and she clearly sounded depressed. I cut the conversation off fairly quickly because of the email she sent. It is below...
"Different doctors, different results. This hip still swells (23 days after surgery), and it hurts. I don't feel much like talking, but sure appreciate prayer."

She hs been in our thoughts and prayers for some time, and will remain so. When you talk to her again, please tell her that she is in our hearts, and we send our love.
