I finally can go to the range!
I got a savage model 110, It is a little old, and has a light reactive scope, but it gets the job done, only problem is that in washington there are no open ranges where I can bring my own stuff to shoot. :( I have an old table I want to do away with, parents are quite reluctant of course lol.

I got a Savage 100 in 30-06 caliber a number of years ago. Shooting from a bench rest it would hold a 3" group of 3 rounds at 100 yards with the stock iron sights. Very, very nice rifle indeed. The Kitsap Rifle & Revolver Club here in Bremerton, WA lets people shoot at odd targets. The main requirement is that you clean up afterwards.

Never had an issue with that, Major. Perhaps you're talking from your own personal experience?

Didn't see it as an attack. More of a snide remark.

Most of my guns were inherited from my father. My absolute favorite is a WWII Mosin Nagant. Most of the time when I go to the range every policeman there ends up firing my rifle.

Nice that you've maintained it - and that you're willing to share. Hallmark of a good person.

Dad always insisted I be able to break a gun down and clean it. I be proficient in both the using and caring for any weapon I own.

As for sharing, I have learned a great deal from the people using my rifle. Somethings I knew some I did not.

It is a great rifle.
