CNN Snubbed the get together last year because of their hatred for President Trump.
Again this year CNN says they will send a very small group in case anything newsworthy pops up.
So President Trump and The First Lady decide that enough is enough.{No Press Party For You}

That's All There is to it. No F**e News Here.

The press has consistently attacked, maligned and mocked Trump, and it has become worse, not better, during the past year. It is crystal clear that the press favors Democrats. Why should Trump invite these people to the White House? It would almost be hypocritical if he did! Imagine Jim Acosta being at this party!!

Exactly. Why should Trump party with the 'enemy of the people'?
So how's his behavior working out for him? You say it has become worse, not better, during the past year. Continuing that behavior will probably alienate 'the press' (quaint term, as you clearly mean the non-fawning news outlets) even more. I'm glad Mr. Trump is not trying carrots on the press because the sticks have worked so well for him.

The results of the recent e******n are proof this strategy works, right?

Not at all! The results of the recent e******n are proof that Trump has a lot of support! He was expected to lose both the House (normally about 63 seats) AND the Senate. Not only did he keep the Senate, he added to it (53 Republicans/47 Democrats - it was 51/49 before) and he only lost 41 seats in the House - way less than expected. He did phenomenally well! We, his base, LOVE him....and there are more of us!
MAGA!

I said the attacks by the press on Trump has become worse during the past year, not Trump's behavior - nice try on spinning my words, though, typical lib...

Spot on Emily, and if memory serves didn't the halfrican lose 60 seats his first mid-terms? If so, President Trump didn't do so bad. It's obvious to anyone with an IQ above the temperature it takes to freeze water the lame stream media is against Trump and the t***h!

I understood what you meant...it was my wording that a little off base. I meant that worse coverage happened , so maybe Trump might consider revamping how he relates to the media.

As to the result of the e******n...I never implied that Mr. Trump didn't have support as clearly he does. But I'll take another e******n cycle like 2018 in 2020. Would you?
