Is the "Boarder" Wall worth shuting down the government, costing billions of dollars and chaos: Trump's ego doesn't care

(Why is border misspelled "boarder"? Because Trump is ignorant and inattentive: his spelling.)

He said Mexico would pay for it, a campaign promise. Not happening. Why no pressure on Mexico President, threat of sanctions, something.

In a huge and costly political stunt, just before the e******ns, he sent the military to the "boarder" to stop the Caravan. The day after, and days after, and a week or two, no mention of the Caravan. Where did they go?

Trump knows this issue of a "boarder" wall is catnip for his base. Under increasing legal pressure, and what looks like a slam-dunk criminal violation of E******n Laws, and possibly obstruction of justice and collusion on a Russian reality deal, he is desperate to whip up some support. His arrogance will not let him budge from the financial debacle of a government shutdown in an attempt to get his way. May God speak to him and seek a better path.

Can a government that fails to protect it's border really be considered as "turned on"?

First off, let us discuss the word that you think the President is ignorant about. What is a boarder? That is exactly how these people see themselves... "a person who receives regular meals when staying somewhere, sleep accommodations, and other needs as they arise" he could have called it a pampered guest wall, as it seems apparent that they think maid service will appear and clean up their garbage as they move from location to location. So.... boarder is as appropriate as any term.

I believe that the President will hold out and will get the funds to pay for the wall.
Is it worth it? My opinion..... yes. Will Mexico pay for it.... not directly. But, I believe the wall is only phase I. I think phase II will be rounding up the i******s in the US and depositing them on the other side of the wall. Phase III will be eliminating the monthly payments sent to Mexico or Central America.

Sadly, Mexico sees the problem and why we have closed the border.... yet, you can not.

As for criminal charges.... I don't think any will materialize. If they do, then he will be tried and get a smack on his wrist.... doubtful if he will be put out of office. But, if he is..... that will put Mike in the office and then you will have a good orator, perfect smile, closed lips, pleasant well rounded education... walking forward (at least in the start) using President Trump's road map. Be careful what you wish for... as my Poppa would say.

Stopping i*****l i*********n is worth doing any and every thing possible. If it takes shutting down the government, building the wall, an electric fence, land mines, or even shooting the illegal vermin, it should be done to stop them. We already have millions of the useless deadbeats in our country.

Until the Democrats have a plan to stop the i******s from getting in, and deporting those already here, I support POTUS Trump's actions!

I like that twist you gave "boarder." Cute. And somewhat apt. But still another dumb mistake by Trump's nearly sterling lack of attention, rage, and speaking before he thinks to say "boarder." You may think that minor but when it happens over and over and over again it is a tell to an unsound mind.

We have, both you and I, no idea if criminal charges against Trump will materialize with Mueller's findings. Believing the president would not commit such offenses is fine and admirable. I feel the big roar over violating Campaign finance law is ridiculous. First, the money is minuscule to the amount spent on the campaign; Obama's campaign failed to disclose almost two million in last minute donations. They got a fine. Tempest in a teapot, much ado about nothing. But Pence is another tragedy ready to unfold: an empty suit. First will do.

But the question is really about shutting down the governement over funds for the wall. Trump said in a TV interview with Pelosi and Schumer that he would "take on the mantle" of shutting the government down. The amount of money lost on such a shutdown is more than the 5 billion he is asking for, making the cost, not just financially but far greater in the problems that would ensue, an attack on the budget and government.

All efforts must start sometime... If you have noticed, President Trump is not a procrastinator. I like that about him. Perhaps because I simply loathe procrastinators who can never seem to get anything done because they can never find the right time to start. We have survived government shut downs... do you not recall obama shutting down the government for 16 days over obamacare in 2013? There was a time that presidents feared shutdowns and would buckle under the threat.

As for charges against the President... I simply do not care. In my opinion, he is doing the best he can although there are some that pine for obama.... and I admit, President Trump has not made the conversion from businessman to politician--I doubt he ever will. He has broken the mold, from now on out the office will not be out of reach for nonpoliticians. If Mueller submits evidence of wrong doing, then we follow the Constitution.... and if he is put out of office...so be it. I will not be r**ting in the streets, unlike those who could not accept reality in 2016.

President Trump only wants to do what is best for this country. He didn't need this job, it is costing him money and time he could spend with his family. No President has had more politicians --from all sides working against him than President Trump has. Yet look at what he has accomplished. I like everything about him especially his intelligence and his love for this country --- and his quick sense of humor. It takes intelligence to have a sense of humor like his. That's why you don't see any liberals with a sense of humor.

Did I give you the impression that I do not appreciate what our President is accomplishing?
If so, let me correct that right now. In my opinion he is doing an excellent job.... all considering, if unfettered he could do much more. But, his hands are tied by liberals that do not want him or our nation to succeed. They pine away for obama.... why, I can not even imagine. And they are determined to have President Trump removed from office. They may succeed and our President will return to a normal life and our nation will continue with Pence as president. If this happens, then so be it. Pence will, for a time, follow the course that President Trump has outlined. With some changes of his own..... within a year of him taking office, liberals will be very sorry for mistreating and getting rid of President Trump. Bad thing for them.... they dare not try to impeach and get rid of Pence too... there would be a justified war. As I warned Rumitoid.... be careful of what you wish and pray for.... you just might get it.

BTW, my family say I do not have a sense of humor..... but trust me, I am very conservative!

Did it work when Chuck Schumer shut down the government? Look it up...it was a disaster.Trump knows how to do this...you Dems won't like it one bit and he won't back down.
Get ready.

Hint: (You might want to watch reruns of "The Apprentice" to see what he's about to do)
