I think he's right. I believe it was either Gingrich or Graham who said basically the impeachment process with Clinton back in the 90's actually backfired. Lying to the public...who would have thought a president can be impeached for that, they all lie? Trump took it too far and it is impeachable.

Oh give me a break. you have so many liars in YOUR party, I don't know where to begin. You and Mueller have nothing on Trump....I mean nothing. No crime, no evidence, no impeachment ~ pretty simple process. If you try to impeach Trump you will only set it up so that in the future if a president sneezes in the wrong direction he will be open for impeceachment. Go ahead and try. It will only backfire. I h**e to even breathe the possibility. Yet it's a real consideration that after the excessive and totally unfair persecution of Trump by f**e news and the ludicrous charges of Russian collusion, there may be limit that Conservatives will stand if the Progressive Marxist (AKA democrats) try to impeach Trump on the charge of campaign money violation made by a known liar.. Currently we're only in a social civil war. If the Marxist mob tries to impeach Trump I would hope that a couple million armed citizens would storm Washington and the halls of our legislative branches and give them a lesson in the meaning and purpose of the 2nd Amendment. Make no mistake about it, Progressive philosophy, ideology and agenda are not in the best interest of America and her people and, one way or another, must be defeated. The impeachment of President Trump could very well be the spark that ignites a firestorm. Be careful what you wish for.

Read the statute against people in positions of public trust (I'm pretty sure people are supposed to Trust the President) lying to the public, in black and white there it is. Remember Air Force One and a dozen other public denials?
...Trump lied about having an affair...never had an affair
...then about paying to shut them up...no NDA
...then about knowing nothing about them being paid...he didn't know anything about a payment
...then about no campaign funds being used...except they were

Each stage where he was caught lying was followed by rhetorical statements of "besides there was nothing wrong with this in the first place if I did, but I didn't".

It is now clear that he violated laws about lying to the public, it ain't freedom of speech for a president to lie. We know he lied, he did it in front of the nation

What he did that's impeachable seems so insignificant it's hard to believe it's an impeachable offense huh? Clinton was held accountable for that, there's more but this is the proof the right so desperately denies is there.

First of all, Clinton did it under oath. Big dif. All this crap happened years ago....as a private citizen. Doesn't matter, ask Sen. Edwards. Secondly, the Mueller "witch hunt" is completely one big farce. In order to have a "special counsel", you have to have a specific "CRIME", not be entitled to go on a wild "fishing expedition". Third, show me credible link or some proof that campaign funds were used. I call bulls**t. And lastly, you need 2/3 of the Senate to impeach, you couldn't even get a majority. But I hope you guys on the Left try it because it WILL make you look like the assholes that you are. Be careful what you wish for. I'm sure if you look for another year or two, you'll fink something. don't give up yet Everybody has skeletons in their closet. I'll be if we went through your tax returns (if you even pay any), we could put you away for five to ten. Tax fraud or evasion is big in your state.
