INSANE: Prof says God is 'unethical' and 'grossly predatory,' the Virgin Mary did not give 'consent'

Eric Sprankle, an associate psychology professor at Minnesota State University Mankato, tweeted that the Virgin Mary did not consent to being impregnated by God — "an all-knowing, all-powerful deity."

Another Twitter user questioned the professor's tweet, writing, "LK 1 26:38 states clearly that the angel communicated God's plan for Mary and in verse 38 she agreed. Whether you believe or disbelieve, it helps if you actually read the text."

But Sprankle wasn't backing down. He defended his initial claim by asserting, "the power difference" between God and Mary "negates" her ability to consent. Read more of the details here.

On Friday's radio program, Glenn Beck and Pat Gray reacted to this latest example of insane progressive outrage.

How do we know Gawd didn't sit down with her, discussing the sins of man, and come up with the plan of virgin birth of a savior together, then, with her agreement, erases the memory of the conversation from her mind and impregnates her, based upon a signed consent, signed prior to having her mind erased, with the agreement that when she dies, all memories will be restored to her soul as it travels up to be with Him forever??!!

Please harken back to the unfortunate Boston Marathon bombing. Beck announced on his show on Friday that on Monday he had a devastating revelation about this heinous act. Never a word. Not that day, not ever. Google it. Beck had that mind many schizoids have, of making word associations and vague references into a "cogent" theory. He was so out there after a while, the network had to let him go.

But the prof has something of a point, though he is an ass. The "power difference" is very real and alive everywhere, in all facets of our existence. You can't argue against him on that point. If you can tell that if you truly believed an all powerful God, omniscient and omnipresent and eternal, maker of all life and creator of the world, asks you to do something, you would consider taking out a quarter and flipping a coin or say you had other plans for your life, you would be lying. Even an earthly father with a good rapport with his daughter may make her consent to any worthy suggestion.
