Seth: Are they not indictive of the Socialist Dems on OPP. U know the kid with the stupid pics and his henchman or henchwomen.

LOL!

Very indicative. Not to mention any names, but one that comes to mind specializes in laughing memes and had the initials BB, another displays a pic of himself driving a stolen tractor with a kidnapped blond in the back, another is named after POTUS' airplane, one is forever unthawed and still another calls himself a solo lupus.

Together, they form a veritable glee club of Leftism.

"Sadly, many in those communities believe it. They believe the reason they lost their homes is because when they fell behind on payments and were foreclosed upon, it was because those big banks forced them to take out a loan they couldn’t afford -- without realizing that their congressional representative forced those banks to lend them the money in the first place."

They were 'forced' to sign! The banks held a gun the their head and said 'sign, or else!' And here's 'Auntie Maxine' to the rescue, she's gonna make them big bad bankers pay! I***ts.

Add to that, these loans were designed to make the repayments easy for the first five years, then the interest rate ramped up from the 1% (or so) starter rate to more than 8% for the next 25 years, easily doubling the repayment amount overnight. Of course they defaulted. They could barely afford the teaser rate, and the banks knew it when they made the loans but they were forced to do it anyway.

Of course, it all came crashing down when enough of these indigent mortgagees defaulted. But of course it did, even Custer's horse saw that one coming. Giving a mortgage to someone whose only income is from the Social Security Administration is absolute lunacy, the banks knew it, but the government (looking at you, Maxine) didn't, and the government is the one with all the force.

Once again, big government interferes in a market that works as it's supposed to and the whole system comes crashing down. And the solution? Well, more big government of course!

You can thank Carter and Clinton for the whole fiasco. Of course Chris Dodd and Barney what’s his name really pushed it thru Congress. Then, that pretend president, Obama, tried to blame it on Bush who went to congresss 17 times to try to stop it but was rebuffed. It is always easy to pass the blame, but the facts speak for themselves.

Maxine Waters' latest utterance lends entirely new meaning to "damned if you do, damned if you don't," and should cause any thinking person to wonder how someone like that could be taken seriously enough not only to be elected to Congress, but to secure her the chairmanship of a committee as important as Financial Services, even as she swears vengeance on private sector concerns for... doing what she and others forced them to do against their will that were recipes for disaster, now blaming those same concerns for the inevitable disasters....

...and vowing "revenge."

These "progressives" are "progressing" our government into a really really bad joke.
