Ruth took a nasty fall resulting in Hospitalization, and now we are trying to find not only the cause, but the future ramifications of her injury for her future on the Supreme Court at age 85.
She will be out of the loop for no more than 6 months if everything goes well.

Although I strongly dislike Ginsberg's performance as a justice of the SCOTUS, I sincerely wish her a speedy recovery. As a typical conservative Christian, I pray for her recovery to good health, but at the same time, hope for her to quickly retire from the SCOTUS.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: If Trump wins, time to move to New Zealand

In an interview with The New York Times, the Supreme Court justice said her husband, who died in 2010, would have said, “‘Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand.’”

“I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president,” she said. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”

Amen. A quick recovery from a painful condition. On the other hand, a quick retirement.

They should be nervous.
Ruth will recover and continue. But The fear is that she may have Alzheimer's disease, and at her age it is very Progressive. Not years, but months, as it works against her faculties and ability to serve on the Supreme Court.

If Kavanaugh had broken ribs I wonder how nice the Left would be ? They would offer to break a few more.

I don't wish her any pain either. I understand she will be in recovery for at least 6 months - I broke one rib skiing once and it hurt for a long time! However, as a Supreme Court Justice, she should have held her tongue on how she felt about Trump (or anyone, for that matter) winning the Presidency. All it did was show her bias - not good for a SC Justice.

My feelings exactly.
If it comes to her retirement, (and she deserves to enjoy her remaining years)Her chosen replacement by President Trump, is already set to be a Woman. A right leaning centrist, with a short approval process by the committee.
The sooner the better.

As I understand, She does own property in New Zealand. I wish her a happy retirement there.
She can keep up with current events while watching FOX NEWS.

Justice Ginsberg's injuries are likely to make the crazies even more nutzo than average. The push to keep Trump from getting another Conservative on the Supreme Court will now become desperate. I hope Trump nominates a Conservative woman because I want to see a bunch of Liberal men come out of the woodwork and accuse her of misconduct.

Somewhere in some dark cellar of the swamp Democrats have a list of Trump's likely nominees. They are at this moment calling up anyone who may have come into contact with these potential Trump nominees all the way back to kindergarten and asking " How would you like to be the next Christine what's her face ? "
