Watching the press conference today I am struck by what appears to be a misconception of the press. They think he's a republican.
In science we say and electron is neither particle nor wave, it is an electron.
Trump is neither repug nor dem; neither conservative nor lib. But he is certainly not l*****t. There in lies his strength.

What exactly is unhinged to you?? He was dealing with reporters who were acting like HS kids; totally disrespectful and inappropriate. He aswered a ton of questions and dealt with a generally hostile group. Nearly every one of them was trying to be provocative intentionally. I thought he was being pretty reserved by not telling some of them to F-off. He should have had a few hauled out of the room.

My thoughts too. When the Press is as disrespectful as they are now, there needs to be a Sergeant of Arms standing by to physically escort them out of the room when they act up. Acosta needs to have his White House Press credentials permanently revoked.

The press needs to understand that the White House briefings and press conferences are a courtesy. The President is under no obligation to have either. If the press cannot conduct itself properly they can be discontinued.

Again, that is exactly right. They are all vying to be the one who "defeats" the president, who embarrasses the president, who hits him with the most revealing/most entrapping question, and their questions are dead end questions like, "are you going to continue to let Russia screw you over?" or "since you're so h**ed by everyone, will you continue to be a r****t president?"
