American Bar Association to reopen Kavanaugh evaluation, citing ‘temperament’

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s opponents continue to find new avenues of attack. The latest comes from the American Bar Association (ABA).
On Friday, the ABA sent a letter to leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee stating that it is going to reopen its evaluation of Judge Kavanaugh, citing his “temperament.”
Temperament
Addressing committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA) and ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the ABA wrote, “New information of a material nature regarding temperament during the September 27th hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee has prompted a reopening of the Standing Committee’s evaluation.”
The referred to date, September 27th, is the day that both accuser Christine Blasey Ford and Judge Kavanaugh testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding Ford’s sexual misconduct allegations.
During his testimony, Kavanaugh, with the justified indignance of a man whose reputation is being d**gged through the mud, made an emotional plea that included expressions of grief and outrage. The latter is what opened up this new avenue of attack, as members of the left immediately began arguing that Kavanaugh lacks the temperament befitting a judge.
That flimsy argument — flimsy since it is contradicted by his 12 years as a judge on the circuit court, not to mention the rest of his immaculate career — was even espoused by former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who on Thursday said there was “merit” to arguments that Kavanaugh lacks the necessary temperament of a judge.
“Well qualified”
As Kavanaugh mentioned in his testimony before the committee, the ABA in its original report had given him a “well qualified” rating — its highest. Kavanaugh credited this to his “judicial temperament,” saying, “that’s why I have the unanimous, ‘well qualified’ rating from the American Bar Association.”
In Friday’s letter, the ABA wrote that “Our original report must be read in conjunction with the foregoing,” adding, “Our original rating stands.”
The ABA also stated that it does not expect the entire confirmation process to be restarted. Whew.
What’s the point?
After allegations of sexual misconduct were made by Ford, the ABA was among those who requested and demanded that the Judiciary Committee put off a v**e on Kavanaugh until an FBI investigation could be completed. It did not get its wish, at least initially.

It would appear that the BAR has been infiltrated by some l*****t democrats. They will try to minimize the success of the Kavanaugh confirmation all the way up to the Nov e******ns.
