The Roman Catholic "Church" is Not Christian

Ever confront a Catholic with scriptural truth of their false teachings only to have them reply with mean spirited, insulting replies? Asserting you are attacking their church, and then realize that not even once did they refute the scriptures of truth you provide.
Here is why....

Practically all precepts of the Roman Catholic religion contradict the Bible repeatedly. It is the largest cult in the world and most preachers will not openly say so because it is so large. For Catholics who read this, please remember this: the person that tells you the truth is the one that cares.

For a glimpse of the atrocities committed by the Roman Catholic religion, do a net search on the Inquisition or the Crusades. During the Inquisition, the Catholic religion killed millions. Why? Primarily to suppress any and all opposition to the pope. Side "benefits" included taking the material wealth of its victims and showing the pope's power. The Catholic Inquisitors tortured, crippled, burned, and imprisoned millions of people. Whatever happened to love your enemies? (Matthew 5:44)

Before we get to specific problems with Catholic doctrine, let's review how this bloodthirsty organization treated a man who simply wanted to get the Bible into the hands of the common people. In the late 1300s John Wycliffe translated the scriptures from the Latin Vulgate. Some 40 odd years after his death, the Catholic religion dug up his bones and burned them calling him an arch-heretick. In the 1500's William Tyndale sought to translate the Bible into the language of the common people, English. He could not gain approval from the Catholic religion so he worked as an outlaw on the run in Europe, translating the Bible. He was eventually captured, condemned and executed in 1536. It is because of people like these men, Tyndale and Wycliffe, that we have the scriptures today. If the Catholic religion had its way, we'd still be in ignorance about the Bible and enslaved to the pope. Time fails me here to tell of other martyrs like John Hus, John Rogers, etc. who were killed by popish persons.

I'll list the catholic tradition first and then what the Bible has to say about the matter.

* * * *

CATHOLIC TRADITION - Call priests father, e.g., Father McKinley.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS -

Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

* * * *

CATHOLIC TRADITION - Forbidding the priesthood to marry.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS -

1) It is devilish to forbid God's people to marry when He has given marriage to be received with thanksgiving.

1 Timothy
4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

2) Peter was married (remember the pope is supposedly continuing the apostolic line through Peter).

Matthew
8:14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

Mark
1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.

Luke
4:38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

3) Paul, a great apostle, remained single; however he made it very clear that he could marry if he wanted to.

1 Corinthians
9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Hi Jack,

Thank you for this post.

It is so spiritually refreshing to come online and encounter God's Truth from His Sacred Scripture, rather than the watered down politically correct sop so many now offer, mistakenly believing they can befriend the lost, then somehow lead them to Jesus Christ , without the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hey Sister, Amen.
Scripture is a big pill of ego and pride for those in cults to swallow and as we have witnessed it is a pill some chose not to even consider.
Jesus was pointed, direct when it came to the truth towards those rejecting "the truth" in scripture as we read of the Pharisees.
Interesting how different Jesus spoke to those that had not heard the gospel verses how he spoke to the Pharisees... Hmm. "It is written" in a different tone that included admonishment.
We also see the blindness in the message of the gospel that turns replies of it to anger, even hate.
As long as cultists post false beliefs on this forum, it is important that readers have an opportunity to see those post for what they are and also have the seeds of the gospel not allowing Satan a foothold.
God bless you for sharing scripture for all to read, while tearing down Satan's footings.

Good morning, Jack,

God grant you a blessed and productive day.

OPP's resident cultists/occultists seem to have been studying Alinsky, and his "luciferian" techniques, as their daily routines now contain ridicule toward all who question and/or attempt to correct their twisting of Holy Scripture.

Another tactic is the emotional appeal, as you receive messages stating you have made someone cry all night because they are so deeply hurt by your lack of agreement with their Mother Cult.

It sounds much like a party of teenagers appealing to be allowed to have their own way.

These are a reflection of demonic underpinnings withing in desperation at the applied Word of God.

Do you remember when "going online" was a relaxing diversion and a learning experience?

The adversaries, whose days are increasingly numbered, are now howling in the street.

May God bless all our days with the ability to fruitfully apply the spiritual application of His Words to all who would thereby profit.

Zemirha,

And a good morning to you. I am in complete agreement with your assessment, unknowly to them this is a spiritual battle that is very very real. Most saved Christians do not understand the uncountable number of demons at work or their power and influence on mankind. Reality shows, "The Ghost Hunters" and many like it have been added to more television stations due to more and more evidence of supernatural spirits (demons) interacting with people. Of course they depict some as poltergeist but the great lie is most are spirits of people that have died and not crossed over and these Ghost Hunters are playing with fire. These same demons are at work with many cult followers, even counterfeiting light. If they knew demons were working in their lives some still would not leave to worship the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
Catholic followers use the exact same logic as Mormons when confronted with biblical scripture that has contraindications to false doctrine, they have to go outside of the holy Bible. They are confounded by supernatural blindness to an irrational thought that what they believe is true not because of scripture but because the book of Mormon says... Or the catholic cannons say..
Oh how getting online has changed. The amount of internet dedicated to porn, fake news, anti God anti Christian, search engine bias, and the list of satanic internet controls is a long one.
Another sign the final harvest of the church age is closing. I read yesterday a poll of those born between 1984 and 199- millennials asking if they believe in the authority of the Bible and God. A staggering 96% said a resounding no. Further questions gave conformation they object to any moral compass with the furthest ones being off the rails are ones after four years of university. Universities now have the blue ribbon award for graduating nearly 100% extremist far leftist.
At the rate of this generation following Satan and rejecting God, the ministry of reaching those in the cults will go the way of the buggy whip, just as the rolls in the Christian church's are declining. Also we see a rise in church's acceptance of replacement theology believing the gentiles have replaced the Jewish, Israel is not God's land bringing back his chosen, the tribulation has already happened, there is no rapture and baptism is a requirement for salvation. Pastors that write articles on the rapture of the church, the coming tribulation report there comments section following the article are replied by some of the most angry mean spirited replies from members of these revisionist churches that they have ever experienced.
Just as we see Satan fighting for souls in the cults he also has established firm strongholds in the last generation in the church.
I recently read a theologians article on the New currency "A NATO bit coin" and described how he believes Trump is God's man for our time, how God is holding our economy together and why he thinks a complete collapse of the dollar may be this side of the rapture. I tend to agree with him. Our need as Christians to be vigilant in stating the gospel, be prepared looking for Jesus to call us, the bride to the marriage supper is our calling and commission.

Isaiah 55:11 comes to mind in sharing the gospel and scriptures.
God's word does not come back void. We are the seed planters and the Holy spirit does the work of renewing.

God Bless you in service of our Lord Jesus
