Extreme L*****t Sen Jeff Merkley has filed a restraining order to prevent the Senate from taking a v**e on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. Last week, he filed a lawsuit against the president. But, you have to overlook his extreme ignorance of the constitution, because after all, he is a Democrat, and Democrats do not recognize the constitution as a legal force.

He is also, apparently unaware of a little thing called, the Separation of Powers, otherwise he would know that the judicial branch cannot interfere with the Senate exercising it’s right to advise and consent.

Last week, I sued @realDonaldTrump & @senatemajldr to stop the unconstitutional Kavanaugh confirmation process. Today I filed a motion for a restraining order against Trump and McConnell to force immediate disclosure of the Kavanaugh record they’ve been working so hard to hide.

Merkley said:

Last week, I sued President Donald Trump & Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to stop the unconstitutional Kavanaugh confirmation process. It’s clear that President Trump and Leader McConnell want to ram this nomination through come hell or high water, but that’s just not how our constitution works.

The FBI investigation was necessary, but it’s not sufficient. The courts MUST intervene to make sure Kavanaugh’s FULL record is available for public scrutiny. And that’s why I filed a motion for a restraining order against President Trump and Mitch McConnell.

Oregon Public Broadcasting reports:

Oregon Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley filed an emergency motion late Tuesday to compel President Donald Trump to release Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s full record ahead of a Senate confirmation v**e.

Merkley said Trump has withheld thousands of pages of documents from Kavanaugh’s record under “p**********l privilege.”

The motion asks the court to force Trump to release those records, which Merkley says the Senate has a “constitutional responsibility” to review.

The confirmation v**e is expected late on Saturday.

Jerkley Merkley is an indication of the level of government we have here in Oregon. Municipal Oregon dominates the State and Portland is the ultimate in failure to understand the consequences of "cause and effect". There is nothing we can accomplish from rural Oregon.
