I always despised the man. But now, I have no doubts.
I'm a LOT younger than you Floyd, and I want to see this country succeed for my children, and grandchildren.
Pardon me for my bluntness, but it's time for the codgers to pass the baton, and go rock on the porch.
Well it is only us older codgers who have the time & experiences to look back at what has gone wrong.
What we have personally experienced is of more value to share if done right than any other.
Who really will be able to judge what value our input will be but those that evaluate it.
Most of us old codgers more than likely have in stilled in our children a decent frame work of ethics & moral standing.
So what we have to say good or bad will have a useful value.
Life is about rights & obligations.
I say most of us old codgers may not have had the rights of others but we did for the most part meet our obligations to those dear to us & others we had contact with.
I say that it is not only a privilege but a obligation we need to honor.
What we have done good or bad can help others grasp a better understanding of what life demands of us.
I have spent countless hours searching who & what I am & have been.
I came on this site to see how I fit in to the life with others.
My time he has lead me to believe that we all for the most part fine upstanding people.
We are much alike & have experienced much the same things.
What struck me is how much most hung on to our differences rather than our likenesses.
I think my time & my views have had an impact in opening each others minds to the idea that we need to dwell more on our likenesses.
Our differences then act on achieving what should be look at as a proper balance to it all.
It is only with respect to & from others to have that all work.
We have been involved in playing the partisan political party game that has divided us to distract us from the action taken on political issue that further divide us.
With each passing day I feel that the level of understanding we have with each other only grows in a very positive way.
I deeply feel we all have something of value to offer each other.
The world is really ours to have & hold if we all see that in our self's.
So I have sat & sit in my rocking chair & think when I rock.
Reading the news papers & watching TV & digesting what is going on around me.
So I say that when you rock.
Remember you thoughts & share them with us.
For it is what we think that becomes what we are.
The sharing helps the balance needed for us all to get a long.
