President Donald Trump spoke about globalism and national sovereignty in a speech before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, telling the body that “America will always choose independence and cooperation over global governance, control and domination.”
“I honor the right of every nation in this room to pursue its own customs, beliefs and traditions. The United States will not tell you how to live, work or worship. We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return,” Trump said.
The president added that Americans “reject the ideology of globalism and accept the ideology of patriotism.”
And moonbats everywhere recoiled in horror...LOL

I agree with you at this time. UN as all we know has been dependent upon the US that contributes 22% of UN Operating funs in 2017.
US contributes 28.6% of the peacekeeping operations in 2016.
Overall US fund Un annually 50.6% of the cost of running.
There are 192 permanent UN members.
Japan contributes 10%, for UN general fund operations, plus the peace keeping
China is now picking up and begin the 10.% plus of the operating funds.

In 2017-18, president Trump reduced UN fund by only hundreds of millions. UN did not welcome that. Yet the US is he host of UN spending our tax money, while their ambassadors living luxuriously at our expense as they spy on the US. These people have so many benefits that we the taxpaying funders don't have.
At present there are about 57 Muslim countries, who are destroying the US, with their total contribution at nil, or invisible. Because of their numbers, they dictate how to run the UN.
UN does not like president Trump because the president reduced UN funding in 2018. Not much but reduced.

And that was his speech offered to the UN yesterday, which the UN did not appreciate.
President Trump is getting away from the globalism, and returning to our sovereign state. He is the only president doing that. Bravo Mr. President. But he was very assertive that we America must have our own sovereign rights over the globalism ambitions of most of the UN countries.
And he encouraged other countries to do the same. No globalism please. I think if the president stays longer, we may exit the UN. But because the world peace is so complicated, we may need another world body that is effective to provide peace.
I think NATO is okay. There are many dangers worldwide that are guarded by the NATO powers.
