So, I'm listening to these women and how they think this Ford woman should be believed, but also, that the men should just shut up and man up??

Really??

This sexual abuse thing is getting out of control. If we let these women run with this, there will be no reproduction but for their golden permission! No passion, no spontaneity, no fun!!

The world functioned just fine for thousands of years without giving the women a voice, right??!!

Of course, I don't think that, but it would appear that many of these 21st century women are wanting to flip it on us men , and basically, take over!! I'm sorry girls, but that is neither biblical nor is it going to happen. The puss men of the 21st century might lean that way, but my guys, and my daughters aren't going with it!!

Men and women have places based upon all sorts of things. Men cannot give birth. Men have testosterone and thus are stronger. It's just the way it is. Not that I haven't seen a girl or two who could be pretty devastating, but that was mostly in the movies. Sorry girls. Mr and Mrs Jones just ain't possible! "Hey hun, your shooting is no better than your cooking, and that's saying something!!" The best line in a truly fictitious flick depicting a woman who could stand toe to toe with a guy. LOL!

So, as I see it, if you girls have something like this truly happen to you, no matter the delicate psychology of it, I'd suggest you "man" up and get on with the accusations, immediately, at the time. Get it out right then and there. Period!!!!!
So, I'm listening to these women and how they thin... (show quote)

This limbo game ploy is now going in slow motion.
Republicans just added another 24 hours/1 Day for Ford to testify under oath.
They will even go to her, at her convenience.

If the moon were cheese we'd have eaten it. This new norm of last minute sexual accusations against an opponent is getting tiresome. She needs to put up or shut up. (Proof, that is.) Period.

Oh, Lord, another troglodyte speaks. Women belong where ever they are qualified to be.
On the one hand, any woman who lies about assault, makes it more difficult for women and girls who truly are assaulted. The t***h is, at some time in her life, any woman has a 25% chance of being molested, either as a child or a woman. But be aware, it is also about 15% so for boys or men. Do you deny that?
As for jokes about rapes, when you tell such a joke in any group of people, when you figure out those percentages, and add in their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, any person who has had the child or woman in his life assaulted, chances approach 100% that you are going to be offensive to someone in that group.
I am not a 'girl.' I am an adult, female human being. I h**e being referred to as a girl. And I learned that from black men who finally stood up and said 'Don't call me boy!" A man who was a redcap at an airport taught me the difference: He turned, saw me, and said "Miss, may I help you with your luggage?"
I had a female boss once who said she liked being called a girl, as that was an acknowledgement of being young looking. But she got SO steamed when the men who were department heads had a weekly meeting, and she wasn't invited. She shared that with me, and I smiled and said "Maybe they don't invite children -- or 'girls.' Her jaw dropped, I saw her thinking that one over, she then turned on her heel and left to attend the meeting. Later, she told me that when she stomped in, they looked up and said "Why are you here?" She snapped back, "I'm a department head too, and I WILL be attending these meetings!" That was that. And the next time an engineer came in and said "Have one of your girls draw this up." She said "We don't have any children here. Just ask us to do the job." And we did.
One guy, much younger than I at the time, came to me, threw his work at me, and said
"Here. Can you type this?" I told him to type it himself. Boss heard us, and asked the problem. I told her "He ORDERED me to do his typing!"
Boss backed me up. Told guy that it was a requirement of his work that he do his own typing. She told him to learn, very fast, or leave. He didn't last long. I cranked out a bit of work that an engineer needed to get on a plane. I got it done in three hours. Dufus took a solid week. I tried to help him, he stubbornly refused to listen. Same kind of drawing.
As for the sexual harassment now being 'discovered' I could tell you stories that would curl your hair. I was also harassed, and often. The difference, was that I would get the offender in front of his buddies, shoot him down in flames so badly that all his buddies would laugh at HIM. I was never any man's doormat.
Sound like a raging feminist? Well, leave out the raging part. But there are times when I do understand why a male colleague in any position gets angry. In one oil company, a female 'engineer' was always acting helpless and asking the men to do anything requiring physical strength, for her. Getting the same pay, doing half the work. In Nevada, all the f**g people on highway construction are women. It used to be that, when men were digging ditches, and one of their bosses saw a man getting tired, he'd assign the guy the job of f**gman, to give him a break. Now, it is 100% women, and the men quite rightfully, resent it. Any person, regardless of g****r, ethnicity or strength, MUST meet the same standards, or they don't get the job. No tests get 'dumbed down' to accomodate any person. They must all pass the same test. Period. My daughter was an Army MP, and she met every single standard set for the recruits. She marched the same miles, carrying the same weight pack, she scored perfectly on rifle range. She did the same pushups, not 'modified' type for women. After graduation, she served three years in Germany. Once, they were called to a bar where there was a fight of some sort. Her partner happened to go in first, and immediately got lights out. She waded in, turned a few of the offenders into temporary sopranos, and protected her partner. She had so much adrenaline chuffing through her, she didn't realize she'd been hurt until someone said "What happened to your face?" She tried to answer, then couldn't, and pain was terrible. Then she looked in a mirror, and discovered her jaw had been dislocated! They had to sedate her to put it back in. Is my daughter some sort of 'butch' female? Nope, five feet ten, slender, perfect skin, green eyes and long, beautiful hair. She married and has two children, my grandchildren. My son served also, in destroyers. My granddaughter married a submariner like her grandfather, and my grandson is active in the Army now.
SO: A woman's place is in the House -- or Senate. Or wherever she is qualified to be. I was hired once for a technical illustrator job, based solely on my portfolio. Guy doing the hiring didn't want to interview any applicant until he saw that. I was hired based on having the best portfolio -- he didn't know I was a woman until after he saw my drawings.
Obviously, no favoritism there!
There are now a good many men in jobs once held almost exclusively by women. Male nurses, male flight attendants, male teachers. Should they be disqualified based on g****r?
I never marched on anything. Never burned any undergarments. Never stopped wearing makeup. I just worked to my best quality all the years I worked. I was too busy raising two drug-free kids, and working outside the home, to bother with marching. AND, if a man and I are approaching the same door, and he has the heavier burden, i hopen doors for him. If a man holds the door for me, I thank him with a smile. Simple courtesy ought to fix a lot of that. AND, if a man and woman ar married, but not to each other, and are having an affair, BOTH of them should be fired! Unless one of them is a CEO, then he/she should pay restitution. It's called e******y. Same pay, for same job. And everybody at work should be equally compensated, or equally fired, based on ability, or harassment.

I dearly wish we could get ONE generation to adulthood, without rape or incest or harassment. I believe a lot of our problems would go away if we could just do that.

Thankfully, the times are changing and what misogynist men think is becoming less and less relevant.

Perhaps this post is brilliant satire. But if it is, my sk**ls of discernment seem to be severely impaired.

If, on he other hand, it is deeply felt belief, I am saddened at the missed opportunity for the poster, and by extension all men who believe similarly. E******y among the sexes is sometimes a hard thing to effect, but its rewards for everyone involved are incalculable.
