The question I posed has nothing to do with the veracity of Kavanaugh or Dr. Ford; that will be determined by the Senate Judicial committee and the American people as long as Dr. Ford is allowed to testify. If she testifies, and is credible, which is not a stretch for a respected professor from Stanford the republicans are screwed. They then face an ugly choice, seat Kavanaugh on a party line v**e a few weeks before the midterms and outrage the educated suburban women they need to hold the senate. Or a number of Republicans join all the Democrats and reject him. My hope is that the nomination is not withdrawn, Americans need to have a clear picture of who Trump nominated. My bet is the cowards force Kavanaugh to fall on his sword before Dr. Ford has a chance to disclose the details of her attack to the senate under oath. A bunch of old white republicans cross examining her is something we all should see.
