Thank you that explains a lot then. Most of the black families in the midwest where I grew up were better christians than most w****s. They also stayed together in their marriages more so than the w****s. As a youngster I could go anywhere in town and not worry. The church that I last attended had probably more b****s than w****s. It was LBJ that ruined the black population in my not so humble opinion. He also ruined quite a number of white families as well. These are just my opinions is all. I have friends living on the west coast so I know a little of that area and had a sister in law on the east coast as well.

I lived in the south off and on, where church was the only entertainment. I went to a segregated school, with hand me down history books that praised the confederacy and hardly mentioned the Union.

I can see where anger and resentment could have occurred in your life. I have relatives in the south as well and have never witnessed any animosity towards black families there either. My family and wifes side were in the ministry as well as my son in law. My son when he was alive was planning going into the ministry as well but was hit and k**led by a hit and run driver in CA. My one big disappointment about black families came a number of years ago. A friend that worked with mi in the engineering department took me to a barbeque restaurant Here in town and he was black and just a wonderful human being. The problem that arose was that the owner of that barbeque restaurant had a special way of doing his barbeque, But he didn't trust his brothers si he never told them how he made the barbeques taste so good. He had a heart attack and since no one in his family had a clue as what do the business failed and closed. That made me mad. The guy that worked with e in Engineering eventually got married and invited me and my wife to his wedding and even when they had a baby they invited us over for that as well. He eventually took a job in another area of the country and I have not seen him since.

In life we all have the right to self determination..
But you seem to think it should only apply for some.
Under the constitution you can not retain any rights just for your self.
Under the constitutuoin with rights there came obligations.

I hear a lot from those on the right about rights but obligations don't seem to be in the conversation.

It seems rights from those get but in to play but obligations seem to slip away.

I believe that Abe Lincoln found the secret to that, as he was attributed to saying "I don't like that man...I must get to know him better." That was to be followed by another quote attributed to honest Abe, "Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?"
