If you believe like fisher there’s not a country in the world worth standing up for. Of course the US has been wrong but we have been right more than wrong and spilled more of our-blood and taken in more people than any country on earth. Why would you side with Kaepernick ?Hes obviously a fraud, liar and didn’t even v**e last e******n. That’s how serious he is about change.

I read it and it makes a good case. So does this, from the same paper (a link within yours):

So where does that leave us?

So why does your article show a flying f**g? Shouldn't it be burning in a fire pit, or stumped into mud? Kaepernick said he disrespects our f**g. You can't walk back his own words: "I am not going to stand up to show p***e in a f**g for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."

What is YOUR stance on our f**g? Black people and people of color??? How's that not r****t?

I think you misread the article. Fisher believes as you. The article is about approach: that argumentation in the form of 'I'm right and you are an i***t' do no one any good. They are self-defeating if the idea is to reach understanding.

I am siding with his right to kneel, to protest, to suffer the consequences, and harvest the rewards. I don't have to agree with him to support him.
Speaking of liars and frauds, you v**ed one into the Presidency . Kaepernick is peanuts compared to that.

So if we're going to continue going down the 'liar and fraud' discussion we'll get nowhere. That's what the article I referenced was about.

Why shouldn't the article show a f**g? Kaepernick doesn't own the rights to it.
And he doesn't have to walk back his statement because you deliberately misstate what he said.

He did not (as you claim) say he disrespects the f**g. Your own quote clearly states 'he will NOT SHOW P***E' (that is far different than disrespect) 'FOR A COUNTRY' (the real target of his quote).

I love the f**g. Have one on my house. A large and diverse group of Americans. Huh?

Figures you had to throw Trump in there. I won't defend Trump, the man. I don't much like him. His policies are what I v**ed for and so far he is standing by what he said he'd do. The problem with this country right now is one of choice. If you are a conservative or even a moderate pro capitalist you v**e for Trump. The Democrats keep throwing quasi socialists out there with policies that are proven failures. They also side with the world over the U.S..
Of course Kaperdick has the right to protest as long as the team he was playing for is o.k. with it. Just like I am O.K. with giving up the NFL like thousands have done and more to follow. Ratings are already down for this year, so if they want to slit their own throats I have no problem with it.

I threw Trump in there to point out the futility using 'crooks and liars' type of argument. It works both ways and does nothing to further compromise.

I don't know why the Kaperdick thing is so seriously taken. Basically shows the rift and or popularity of the NFL and the divide in ourcountry. I no longer watch because of the stupid IMO protests, but don't care who does. I've now discovered Red Fish bite on Sunday also.
