Since food prices (which are increasing at alarming rates) and energy prices (also increasing) are not included in the inflation equation, the libtards in their usual ignorance, say "nothing to worry about" inflation is not that bad. In the mean time inflation is increasing at an alarming rate, and guess what that means? The interest on that massive national debt that Obummer ran up will start taking more and more out of the budget, which means more deficit spending and more debt!

He's a flaming left-wing libtard, along the lines of the three Stooges BoJester, Retired669, and Brian Devon.

OldSchool, are you sure we see no accounting for food and energy? Seem those are two of the most important components for everyone, and need to be tracked. Maybe they have indexes of their own?

Someone needs to get butt in gear and show those numbers to the public.

Actually, the drought in the western US has prompted cattle ranchers to reduce their herd numbers. Total cattle numbers in the US are lower than they were in 1950 with twice the human population today. There is some kind of porcine v***s, PEDv, (imported from China) that has k**led about 6 million baby pigs. It does NOT affect humans.

Rising feed prices, rising fuel prices, and prolonged drought will certainly put upward pressure on all food prices. Some pundits are predicting food inflation as high as 11-17%. Of course 'official' government numbers are lower.

I know these changes to the equation occurred in the Clinton and Bush Administrations. The excuse being food and energy prices are too volatile. Another change to an equation, and I believe it was the Clinton Administration instituted it (but, I could be wrong), is including borrowed money in the GDP equation. Borrowed money is not produced goods. The unemployment equation (U3 number) is also skewed, so I use the U6 number which is more accurate. The Bush Administration, is just as guilty as the Clinton and Obama Administrations for changing equations and skewing numbers to make the economy look better than what it really is.
