We made a lot of progress from 2008 to 2016 just to see it go down the drain. Way too many people think that is great. . The rich got an unneeded tax break when the middle class worker is who should have gotten the break. Hell the rich are going to get an even bigger break. It is all being paid for with borrowed money and the national debt is growing. People want action but they keep falling for a line of BS from politicians who are not sincere but have a plan to get rich from their position in public office.. Unethical and illegal but still done all the way to the top. We have scandals and investigations and we are supposed to discredit all investigators who speak the t***h. H**e is winning. patriotism is being narrowed and redefined. All the while we are headed to financial ruin. Our closest allies don't trust us and they are retaliating. How in Hell is all this going to Make America Great again? Costs are going up and job losses are ignored. The president wants us to boycott Harley Davidson. . We may all wish America would be normal again. I already do.

”when the middle class worker is who should have gotten the break...”. Really, both UncleE and ProgenyE have seen the amount of taxes, deducted from their checks, reduced.

I would not know because I am self employed. I personally know people making 100,000 a year and paying half of it in taxes.. What would be the consequence of reducing that amount by 50%?

Do you need to buy a Harley Tom ?

I would suggest an Indian.

Between 2008 and 2016, the only progress I saw, was in the wrong direction.

Homosexuals progressed, Muslim refugees progressed, i*****l a***ns progressed and men who like to use the little girls bathroom progressed, food stamp recipients progressed and the miseducation of the negro race progressed.

Since rich people pay 90% of the taxes, then rich people are deserving of a tax break.

And literally millions of employees have received raises and bonuses all due to Trump's tax breaks.

I'm one of them and it certainly has convinced me that making America great again is a positive direction of progress.

Have you ever seen the cost of a brand new truck go down ?

Since the day I became responsible for my own t***sportation I have never seen the cost of a new truck decrease.

So why should I blame that on the president when the cost of automobiles has steadily risen since long before Trump got elected.

Our closest ally is Israel and our European allies are more like welfare cases rather than allies.

Can you point out any personal loss you have suffered because of Trump ?

I'd like to hear the details of that loss.

The rich got richer from 2008-16, like they always do.

The rich got richer with 1-2% GDP growth.
The rich got richer in the recession.
The rich got richer when imports skyrocketed.
The rich got richer when we imported more energy.

The middle and lower economic classes get richer when more jobs are added.
When GDP is at 3,4 &5% growth.
When manufacturing jobs come back.
When we import less.

Trump isn't perfect. He's just do much better than Obama, some people get carried away.

I am worried that I will lose financially like I did in 2007. Things were red hot then wham housing died..I buy a lot of metal roofing products and I am paying 15% more for the same materials than I did just one year ago. Asphalt roofing products are more now and lumber is going up. Trade war and tariiffs are making these commodities increase in price and the prices will never go down. This is causing me to raise prices and lose some bids. I am currently too busy but I was at the time of the crash. I feel it coming and I trust my gut. I don't know when the bottom is going to fall out and I hope it doesn't but if national debt keeps rising and interest rates go up we have a situation. Gas prices seem stable but if we see a big jump like in 2008 watch out. I paid $4.75 a gallon in the last months of the Bush presidency. My best investment was locking gas caps. I am not affected by Muslims Q***rs or Mexicans. There are not many in my county. Isreal is our only friend in the middle east I will agree. .If we leave Nato and end our military presence in Europe someone is going to start building an empire. Not something I want to see. That's about it for now. thanks for replying and your comments are not any thing I will argue with.

I do hope manufacturing jobs make a big comeback. My county had over 100 operating sawmills in 1980. now there are just a few.. Spotted owls took the federal timber supply and private companys went to exporting logs instead of making them into lumber here. The rich did get richer but the average citizen here got screwed.

Building material costs increase with every national disaster.

After hurricane Harvey drowned the city of Houston, the cost of building materials increased just as it did after hurricane Katrina.

As for "the bottom falling out", we've been preparing for that for years.

My bookkeeper and accountant BOTH saw a reduction in my taxes.

That's correct.

There is a middle ground on use of resources and preservation. That middle ground has been over-run by Democrats that support their own re-e******n more than they support jobs for their citizens.

I have a family member who's family company used to service sawmill equipment in Oregon. That company crashed years ago.

I'm sorry you've been hit so hard.

Hopefully the EPA reforms will allow some semblance of normality to come back to your industry.

I would also say that repulsives support their own re-e******n more than they support jobs for citizens. Just empty rhetoric.

EPA reforms? Don't invest in the plastic straw industry...
