So what? Is it news to anyone that Bill Moyers, weasel, is living in ignorant denial?

Ine******y is the norm, e******y would HAVE to be manufactured, and guess who would do the manufacturing. What if I don't want to be equal to gang bangers? Does wimpy old PBS Bill Moyers really think gang bangers will ever be equal to ME? Better yet, to Bill Moyers? Progressives are seriously ill folks, and to allow insanity to rule too much of your lives is ill advised. Progs, democrats, socialists, c*******ts, collectivists, all despots, all dictators fall into one category in my book, and if you would study mental health, they'd fall into the same places in YOUR book: under the heading:
SOCIOPATH. Definition:
so·ci·o·path
[soh-see-uh-path, soh-shee-]
a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sociopath?s=t

I believe that is why they always want to control the rest of us - to prevent us from actually accepting the fact that they are missing a few screws in the brain pan. If they can make us behave and talk as i***tically as they do, then they don't seem to be quite as stupid as they actually are. They don't want us to catch on to the real shortcoming they have that makes people cringe when around them. Many of them don't know they are short a few major brain centers. Besides that, if we all catch on to their mental health capabilities, we may simply incarcerate all of them for treatment. Bet that's a scary thought for them.

Thus the growing chasm in the U.S. between the haves and the have-nots has serious consequences. Societies that manage a narrower gap between rich and poor enjoy longer economic expansions, according to research published this year by the International Monetary Fund.

And that method of managing a narrower gap would be described exactly HOW, Chardo? And at what price would individual freedom suffer? How can it be done without denying freedoms to those who work to get ahead? Would it ever be done by insisting everyone work for their benefits? Can we rob Peter to pay Paul without harming Peter so that Paul can benefit? I say we cannot. Only in C*******t Russia did I ever hear of welfare recipients having to WORK for their benefits - C*******t Russia was ahead of our curve over 40 years ago when it came to your perceived problem with our society. Our society is what it is because it is what it is. NO ONE is denied opportunity - it is simply that some WORK for that opportunity while others want it handed to them, otherwise they will do without. Nature can be "cruel", but nature cannot be artificially changed. THAT's the lesson the left needs to learn. Until the left accepts reality, the left will forever be burdened with unnecessary concern that they themselves are not ready or prepared to correct.

The role of the government in income disparity is a large part of the problem. People like Moyers himself benefit from government underwriting the very network that provides enormous wealth to him.

Crony capitalism is rampant, and those who think it is purely because of Republicans are fooling themselves. Establishment Republicans and special interest cronyism of the Democractic Party is the source - and the much derided Tea Party is far closer to being the solution.

Name one society that has a stronger and longer record of economic expansion than the US! The problem we face is that the "Have Nots" don't want to do what is necessary to become a "Have." They want to take from the "Haves" to satisfy their greed and lack of motivation.

Ine******y is a fact of life and will not change. Bill Moyers and other socialist like him only need to look at other attempts at economic and social e******y to see that it ALWAYS fails. Why, because those who WORK for what they have do not want to give it away to those who don't work. No one has been to figure out how to get lazy people to do their part to support a utopian society. Human nature won't permit it!

Thanks for helping the conservative cause. Certainly all conservatives think the GOP is out of touch - it has become Democrat-Lite and there's nothing good about that!

Needless to add that the Democrat Party has been out of touch for half a century at least, but it is so antiquated and bloated with criminals and worthless scum that no one even cares that it is out of touch. At least the Pubbies in the field try to get decent people into office - too bad the Dems cannot copy that attempt, but the Dems salivate over the most rotten of the truly rotten "representation in Congress".

So you all think that the GOP is not extreme enough. ?? LMFAO!
You keep on believing that, keep pushing them further to the right, and eventually you'll push them over the cliff into oblivion.

What this left wing nut doesn't realize - if these polls are accurate it only shows the success of the left in dumbing down too many Americans - personified by this fool himself.

Disagreement with i***ts equates to h**efulness - that's how their minders depict disagreement.

Governors of 30 states, control of state legistlators in 28 states, majority in the House - guess that oblivion if you're not paying attention.

Obama was reelected as the only two term president who recieved a lower proportion of the v**e in his 2nd campaign than the first.

2014 may yield a different result than 2012, and 2016 may result in something quite different yet again.

Prediction of oblivion have proven themselves problematic in the past, and unless a majority of Americans have been sufficiently dumbed down, they will again.

Catastrophic illness, job loss, disaster: These things happen at one time or another to most people. Until you've seen children literally starving in the streets please try to be less cavalier about you're social Darwinist posts. You folks speak of freedom. We've the freedom of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This cannot happen in the mirror of Eisenhower's warning. We live in a country of monopolies, both in goods as well as in information. Government ideally is here to see that we all play by the rules. It doesn't and we don't.
