This was another of Obama's Executive Orders that he pulled out of his hat. It did not go to Congress, he just "made it so" with his EO. Trump doesn't think his country has to be monitored by other countries in order to keep an agreement that has no factual basis - The science behind c*****e c****e is iffy at best, and there are many studies that prove the scientists skew results of their tests so they can continue to get their grant money. Trump knows this, and a lot of Americans are with him on this. The major requirement of the agreement is for countries to honestly report their progress towards their own goals every five years, when they must submit new ways to improve. The agreement was envisioned to derive its strength from the accountability (rich) countries would hold each other to essentially peer pressure. The agreement also stipulates that, beginning in 2020, developed countries send $100 billion annually to developing countries that will be spent furthering progress in countering and adapting to c*****e c****e. It was just another attempt at globalization by Obama.

The Clean Power Plan was not k**led by Trump, it was k**led by the Supreme Court. The majority of the Court had concerns about the EPA’s authority to impose the CPP under the Clean Air Act. Trump was just accommodating the Supreme Court's decision.

Then the whole world can do wh**ever they want and spend wh**ever they want. The only reason they want the US involved is because of $$$$$ that they can get from us. As usual, we pay the most and the other countries just take what they can get. China hasn't paid anything yet.

You're right. It's voluntary. Do you think the other countries want the US to "volunteer" money to the "cause"? Of course. Obama set this up so that other countries would be on his side once he gave mega bucks to them. He started ruining America so that all the countries on the Globe would be equal. It didn't work, thanks to Trump. We have a long way to go to get the US back into sovereignty because of Obama's mess. Again...China has paid nothing. And China now has an Emperor. (Another name for Dictator.)
