Have you taken the kids to a pumpkin patch or maze yet???

You pay them to walk around finding just the right one, take it from the stalk, then carry it to the front to pay for it based on weight..lololol

Heck yeah!!! That's tradition around here. We have about 5 or 6 in a bag, we still have yet to paint them, been busy. Went apple picking about a month ago too, and ya can't forget the Topsfield Fare!

I wanted to take them to Salem this year maybe a day or two before Halloween but Mrs. WFOC thinks they might still be too young. 😏 πŸ‘» πŸ‘»

I haven't done mine yet either...Waiting on son to do them together, Friday.....

Salem, how cool is that, but Mrs. WFOC may have a better idea if too young yet...can always do it next year....

Do a haunted house in your home things that pop out or scary music and sneak up on them, barely touching them or hide and do the same..then deny you did any of it..loll
Do candle light only and tell scary stories lololol while scary sound effects are playing in the background ..

All good, Worried..
And next, Thanksgiving.....big time food spread, 3 days cooking.Ohhh the fun..
Best time of the year, now here....

Topsfield Fair??? I don't know about that ~~ please share....

A lot has changed since used to go as kid, but it's still pretty cool.

It's the country's oldest agriculture fair, the Essex Agricultural Society began the event almost 200 years ago. Fast forward to 2016 and there's much more than just cattle and crops. That's still there, but fair-goers can also enjoy carnival rides, emu races, and plenty of special events spread across 11 days.

I couldn't get Dylan off this ride, lol.

Perhaps . I sure would Like it. I have met some great people of all political beliefs here on OPP. believe it or not I met a poster who went by MSBEE that gave me almost $40,000 in work this summer after telling I was a local contractor. Those people were awesome to me and to think I met them here. Who says OPP is a waste of time --eh. That's Canadian. that's how tons of my relatives talk.

Dang! Tom, good for you. I vaguely remember that screen name. Ya just never know---eh. I'm very familiar with that kind of talk. I played hockey (a lot) as a kid, took many a trip up there to play.

(Slap shot is one of my favorite movies too😝)

Way cool. I never played hockey but I had the skates. In the area where I grew up there was a 100 acre field that flooded every winter and froze over. We would light tires on fire to warm by and skate all day long. Can't do that no more. It was a blast.

If NPP is up to it we might take the dogs trick or treating. After all, Tank and Zeus were flower dogs for a wedding. they carried bouquets of flowers down the aisle for a young man and his bride around a year ago so trick or treat buckets should be no problem. Chaos has a costume, he is going as a goat. What do you think, will that work, or should we take Pete's goats along dressed up like dogs?

Lol, yeah I remember you guys sharing that with us about the wedding, too funny! That's a tough decision, I think either would be cute, but if had to pick one, I'd have to go with the dogs dressed as goats, lol, it would be funny to see the faces on people. Hahahahahaha πŸ‘

Whichever you decide, I hope you guys have an awesome night, it's one of the few nights we can be silly and not have people thinking we're crazy. 😝

Give Mike our best, we're so happy things worked out well.

Lol. Nope, can't do that anymore, EPA's black helicopters would come swooping in real quick, lol. We had a field that flooded too, nowhere near as big as yours, about the size of a soccer field (cuz it was lol) never got real deep, about waist high, I know because I fell through the ice about once a year, lol. Ahhh the good old days.... β›Έ πŸ’

Mike says he is up to it, so the Corsos Tank and Zeus will carry trick or treat baskets, and wear pony saddles. that way if Mike needs help he can lean on the dogs. Chaos since he is a Welsh Terrier and already has a beard, will go as a goat, horns and all. Our neighbors all know we are a little crazy so they won't wonder if we have flipped out.
