I've heard they are good eating. I don't know to be honest. But, yeah, they get big. My brother said we can't keep any under 18 inches.
This is all new to me. Never been on a guided fishing trip before, so I'll learn. I was talking to a friend this morning who has done this, and he said they take you out early, use a cast net to catch the bait fish, then it's on.
We're supposed to meet them at the dock at 5:30 Saturday morning, so I'm guessing that might happen.
This is strange to me to say the least. I'm going on a fishing trip 5 1/2 hours away, and only taking clothes, toiletries, and a cooler full of beer!

That's odd. I went through a 45 minute, grinding ordeal this morning at Wal-Mart so I can catch them on the Texas/Oklahoma border.
