We live in a hard right oriented county, there aren't very many b****s or asians here. There is a strong contingent of skinhead types, and a lot of rural country white trash areas. I have lost count of the times I've seen mean spirited people telling people who look Muslim or hispanic to pack their things because this is our country now.
I've seen a lot of people shamed for r****t behavior, in all honesty it doesn't seem to happen as often as it did a year and a half ago. Part of that might be that people do intervene and tell them to knock it off and that does send a message that it won't be tolerated.

I think verbal abuse of anyone no matter what race,g****r,or ethnicity is wrong and should be stopped by both on left the right and independent.
