Either a large rump roast or a large rolled roast enough to feed your family.

Two packages of Good Seasons dry italian dressing seasoning.

I can or bottle of beer

4 or 5 pepperoncinis cut into pieces.

Put roast into slow cooker of crock pot and cover with the Good Seasons dry Italian Seasoning.

Pour in the beer and add the pepperoncini cut up on top of the roast.

Cook for most of the day and near serving time I usually use a potato masher to break down the roast.

Serve on Hoagie buns with your choice of potato chips or french fries with pepperoncini on the side. Cheddar fries are also great with these

Yummmmmyyyyyy!!!

Reminds me of pulled beef sandwich served in Chicago.. Rump roast, cooked with onions, green and red peppers, seasoning to taste, 32oz Swansons 50% reduced salt, beef broth..

Cook in a slow cooker, with onions and peppers, when meat has browned nicely add your beef broth to the broth already in your slow cooker.. Bring it to a boil, reduce temp and let it continue to simmer down..

**Cut your onions and peppers in strips rather than cubed...

Serve over sour dough roll or any hard roll you want with plenty of the beef broth..

I always liked sandwiches served Au Jus they are the best and they are finger licken good as well. The Italian beef served with cheddar fries is also a treat. You can purchase them at Portillos which is in Chicago as well. They are the crinkle cut fries with a cup of cheddar sauce to dip the fries in. Yummy.
