recipe for bratwurst pie

1 9" pie shell. This pie has only a bottom pie shell not a top one
3 or 4 bratwurst, cooked and cool enough to handle. I usually cook extra when putting them on the BBQ and save the extras for the pie.
1/2 cup German lager beer reduced to no more than 1/2 cup liquid
1 small can navy or pinto beans, drained thoroughly. If you don't like beans leave this out
6 oz each pepper jack and monterey jack cheese cut in small pieces. You may substitute sharp cheddar for some of the Monterey jack if you wish
2 raw eggs

prepare the pie shell as you would for a fruit pie
cut the bratwurst in small peices
cube the cheese in small cubes
mix the eggs with the other ingredients well blended and pour in pie shell
sprinkle a little shredded cheddar on top
cook in 350degree oven for 45 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6 people
