That looks amazing! Like a quick cobbler. I’m trying this one. We have blackberries growing wild that are producing right now so I can use fresh ones. Beautiful

Now that is one decadent masterpiece!!!
I will be getting the ingrediants and making this next Sunday when my son comes over!!

I have to find a recipe for strawberry pie.. You use pretzels as the crust, crushed of course, like a graham cracker crust.. Its sweet slightly salty taste is amazing and so simple to make..I buy the reduced salt pretzels but others use the regular ones..

Anyway, let me find it and I’ll post it up..

Just wanted all to know NPP for some reason can not get in even though he is the owner of the this section..

Frustrated he is we are working with Admin to get the glitch? Cleared up..

Blackberries?? Did you say blackberries??? Ohhhhh a favorite for sure!!!
A very simple recipe for blackberry syrup you may like~~~

3 cups fresh blackberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup water

Directions
Add blackberries, sugar, lemon juice and water to a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, and boil for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before use.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

If you prefer a smooth blackberry syrup, pour cooked blackberries and sauce into blender and pulse until smooth. Pour through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer and discard any seeds or pulp.

I use it on pancakes. Sponge cake with fresh berries on top and whipped cream, etc . even on English muffins with morning coffee..

Hope NPP gets it resolved soon. I've made the bratwurst pie twice already. If I don't comment on the sweet recipes it's not because I don't love sweets, it's because I've always loved them too much, and can't eat them anymore. I sure miss my gallon of sweet tea every day, should have drunk more water.

Key Lime Pie

1 can of condensed milk
3 egg yolks
4 oz. of lemon juice
1 8" pie crust

pre-heat oven to 325
in a medium bowl whisk, the egg yolks
gradually add the condensed milk
and lemon juice
whisk until blended and smooth
pour into pie shell
bake for 30 minutes
let cool for one hour
refrigerate for two
add whip cream if you want

Not the best I've ever eaten but it's not bad. Some people just won't tell their secret ingredients. That aunt is no longer in my will (kidding).
