I've seen Mike Pompeo in action, as a Congressman, the CIA director, and now as SecState. He ain't no spineless patsy, the man has a humongous pair of cajones, I reckon if the dems try to "eat him alive", they are going to bite off a hell of lot more than they can chew.

The day of the summit I told the OPP on several threads that Mideast peace was what the two were talking about. Not all they talked about. For sure there was one more thing...I have a good source.

Yep, you did. Pretty obvious that president Trump is not in Putin's pocket. Seems Trump convinced Putin of some things that our two countries need to deal with. America and Russia don't have to be bear hugging buddies, but, since the two nations hold 90% of the world's nukes, a little cooperation couldn't hurt.

He's still deflecting. First off, the findings of the intelligence community is that Russia did it and even pointed to twelve people specifically and what they did to participate in the hacking so you can't sit there and say that it was Russia but it could have been other people too. So who told Trump it could be other people? Not the US intelligence community and certainly not the Mueller investigation so the instant Trump says that he is saying the he doesn't believe his own agencies findings--which were that Russia acted alone. So it's just more of the same bulls**t. I hope something positive comes out of North Korea but I have very little faith in Trumps negotiating sk**ls and just hope Pampeo is up to the task. Oh, and Trump is pro Russia which begs the question: WHY!

So Trump just likes to give the impression he's in Putins pocket but he's not really? Here's a simple question for you to answer: name a single world leader other than Putin whom Trump had never denigrated...not once? Trump had denigrated all of his political opponents, everyone in the republican party, everyone in the democrat party, every European leader, all the Asian leaders...and even many governors and mayors but he had never said a single bad thing about Vladimir Putin...not once.

Trumps ego demands that he position himself above everyone else which is the reason behind denigrating them so why doesn't he use that tactic with Putin and why on earth did he actually appear demure when he stood next to Putin in Helsinki? I mean Trump actually seems submissive around Putin and Putin is the only man on this planet where he acts that way. And yes, our two nations hold 90% of the nukes which is why if anyone is submissive I would rather it be Putin then our own president...

Actually I think he was elected by Americans who were influence by an ex KGB agent doing all he can to destroy the worlds greatest democracy.
