I should have said the word Wouldn't, instead of the word Would! I'll say this--"I don't see why it would be?" The president says he intended to use a double negative here and use the world Would and not Wouldn't...even thought the full context of what he was saying the only word that fits is Would! So "it could be Russia but it could be other people." So if it could be other people than is it Russia? And if it could be...wouldn't it be would...or is would the word he intended to use? Understand?

And it's not that we liberals think you are stupid it's that your own president plays for for the biggest fools ever produced in this nation! Sad, so very, very sad...

The WH received so much blow back that this was the best reprocess they could come up with--and in their defense this probably was the best thing they could come up with. I mean could any of us have done better--other than turning in our resignations and saying we simply can no longer put up with this s**t? So give them a break, look at what they have to work with...

I still can't decide whether to laugh or cry whenever Trump tries to be clever, and his sycophants begin to drool. It's obvious to anyone not suffering from dementia or a psychotic break, that when Trump reads an address, it's someone else talking, and when he goes off script - we find out what he really thinks. Not only was his "walk back" stupid, it didn't even try to walk back the real crime he committed in Finland. Even with the pathetic attempt at "clarity", he couldn't help himself and went off script, stating once again that it could have been Russia, or someone else, because there are a lot of people out there.

That's kinda on the level of his excuse for not helping Porto Rico "there's a lot of water between them and us, a whole lot of water". I guess he didn't look out the window of AF1, and notice that he flew right over all that water.

And if you replace the word would with wouldn't as he maintains he meant to say, it's worse than why would Putin do that. Think about it, say the words, why wouldn't Putin have done this, that is saying of course Putin did that, why wouldn't he?
