There are very few grounds for disliking ObamaCare. A majority of the people in this country like it and want it. A few claim their premiums went up, but this number is dwarfed by the number of premiums that stabilized or went down. Having the pre-existing condition requirement seems like a good and compassionate thing. The main objection I have sensed is that Obama, an African-American, was responsible for its inception. Remember that much of ObamaCare was modeled on what a Republican got passed earlier in Massachusetts. Unless you folks panning ObamaCare can come up with valid reasons for hating it so, we have to chalk up the hatred of ObamaCare to ordinary r****m and bigotry.

Premiums went up a little after the inception of Obamacare because life time limits were eliminated and max payouts were eliminated the premiums went up because they were actually getting a real policy that (CANNOT BE CANCELED) when you have a long-term illness. The states that got whacked with the highest premium increases were the state’s that refused Medicare expansion and they are red states.

My son has an incurable kidney disease and prior to Obamacare he could not get insurance at any cost he now has full coverage for $750 a month premium for a high end Insurance policy.

Mine went down. So when you claim 100%, I have already proved you to be wrong.

And how do you account for the fact that more people approve of ObamaCare than do not?

You got one thing wrong in this post — what I say is not the word of God. But you are correct that many Trump supporters are f*****ts.

You may be correct. But I think there is a vibrant strain of f*****m that dominates the Republican Party these days. Years ago it was not like that. They used to have principles.

How can you imply it was a racial thing.. If that were the case he wouldn’t have been v**ed in to office by the “w****s”....

It was not what you claimed it was however an endeavor to bring in socialized healthcare no one v**ed to get!! It cut Drs care, premium growth every year with less coverage ... So please understand it wasn’t a racial issue at all...

It was a rejection to socialized health care that no one wanted!! The majority did fine with their own chosen coverage.

If Bo wanted everyone to be insured then he should have designed a policy for those claimed 20 million people and left the rest of us the hell alone!!

You just said you have Medicare.

Medicare and Obamacare are not the same thing. If you are currently enrolled in the Medicare program, you cannot enroll in an Obamacare plan from the Marketplace (called a Qualified Health Plan, or QHP, under Obamacare) to supplement your Medicare coverage. In fact, it’s illegal for an insurance agent or producer who knows you have Medicare to sell you a Marketplace plan.

Medicaid & Medicare Can Be Combined; Obamacare & Medicare Can't. It's perfectly legal and beneficial to have both Medicare and Medicaid coverage at the same time if you're eligible for both. However, there is generally no benefit to having both an Obamacare health insurance plan and Medicare.

Linda, in the last few years you have seen a concerted effort to destroy EVERYTHING Obama has done. This has been pure and simple r****m.

Lots of people wanted ObamaCare, contrary to your mistaken assertion that no one did. That’s why it passed.

You call requiring the inclusion of previous conditions “cutting healthcare”? Heh ?

In fact requiring preventative healthcare in what insurance covers is hardly “cutting health care” too.

With skyrocketing costs every year, the majority of the people did not “do fine,” as you assert.

Facing these facts, I can only believe that you have fallen for someone’s propaganda.

This is indicated by the fact that Republicans have tried to undo EVERYTHING Obama accomplished. I am certain it was r****m. And you went for it.
