All of us here flapping our gums so to speak ( As we really are using our fingers)

Failure to take in to account how s***ery played such a large part in creating the worlds wealth.
How they have turned their back on those whose earlier generations whos toils enriched the forefathers of the wealthy so well.

This is the one of greatest injustice that has ever been.
A long with the treatment of the Native Indians in this country comes close.

The price others paid for our forefathers gain is the biggest sin we all carry.

All that is being ask of us is to treat them with the respect they deserve.

So many w****s have let them self be divided on facial issue & have sold their souls for the almighty dollar.

As individuals we are an important part of what ever takes place in life.

We as individuals, if we wish to have all the rights we think we should have.
We need be for the rights of individuals as individuals every where.

All people need to be recognized as being valuable to the whole.
Redressing past sins is in order.

It is our sin that we inherited from our fathers.
It has fallen on us to correct.
The very least we should do is to ask forgiveness for the sins of our fathers.
Then show them the respect they deserve for putting up with the pains they have suffered.

My family were not s***e owners, and I only give my respect to those who earn. Like MLK I judge a person by the content their character, not by the color of their skin. Want respect then give respect, that's how YOU get it from others !!!!!!

How can you be surd that where is no connection to you?
When s***ery ended they were left to fend as best they could.
While w***e A******ns got the jobs.

The first big use of s***es was in growing sugar cane in the Caribbean.

Are you saying that those s***e did not earn respect for what they added to the wealth they helped create.
Just how do you rate the character of those gaining wealth of the backs of those s***es.

I will only say that the couse of world history would be vastly different to day with out the s***ery that took place in the past.
Fortunes where made & past down to some.
While the fate of the s***es gain nothing from the gain they added

You will not find many people who owned or had family member who owned s***es.
I know that my family has been Americans for the past 6 generations and none of them owned s***es..... unless you consider employing a black is akin to ownership. If so, then anyone who works for anyone is or was a s***e.... that means that every American from the foundation till today is a s***e or decedent of a s***e. So.... where does that stand in your argument? I might also bring to your attention that some of the largest holders of s***es were themselves black. So, how does that fit in?

I know there is vary little direct connection to s***ery by most people today.
I just wish to point out that b****s today have deserved thanks & respect.
For the role their forefathers played in the system of s***ery in this country.

S***ery is wrong no matter what the skin color of the owner of other humans is. Many Americans today are descended from immigrants who didn't own s***es.

What w***e A******ns profit from today is a system of privilege created back in the s***e owning days to foster white privilege. One tool needed to justify holding humans as s***es is to deny or lessen their humanity. This was done in a variety of ways: not educating b****s, not counting them as full human beings (the 3/5 rule), cartoons exaggerating physical features, displaying black children as zoo exhibits, tearing apart families by selling off family members, denying access to public facilities, denying b****s the right to v**e, unequal access to jobs and housing, predatory lending, racial slurs, unequal treatment in the criminal justice system, performing medical experiments on b****s without their knowledge or consent, etc. We still have gerrymandering used to dilute the strength of the political party minorities tend to v**e for. We still have white folks calling the police when they see a black politician campaigning in a neighborhood, a black child selling lemonade,
black tenants swimming in a pool to which they have legal access, black women golfing, black women renting a vacation home, or black families cooking outdoors at a park. White folks don't have to deal with these issues; they don't have to worry about this kind of scrutiny.

We all need to speak out against r****t prejudicial behavior whenever we encounter it. We need to get to know each other as fellow human beings, which is the goal of integration.

I am mindful of those who built our nation: Hispanics, Asians, Scottish, British, the Irish, b****s..... tell me, what are the black today doing that merit more thanks or respect than say any of these other decedents of our early years?

Have you ever read Upton Sinclair's book "The Jungle" about the economic sklavery of those who worked in the meat packing industry? Why do you think we had Pullman R**ts in Chicago, Molly Maguries in the coal industry? Is there any essential difference in owning a man outright and owning a man such that he is dependent on your emolpyment to stay barely alive without any means or hope of changing his locale and economic prospects?

Have you studied the rise of trade unionism and the oppression that brought these unions into being plus the violent, bloody battles which were fought to get a fair shake from the plutocrats who controlled everything? Even Pope Leo XIII, had to chime in with his encyclical "De Rerum Natura" to comment on the working class being c***ted out of fair compensation.

Again justice demands that, in dealing with the working man, religion and the good of his soul must be kept in mind. Hence, the employer is bound to see that the worker has time for his religious duties; that he be not exposed to corrupting influences and dangerous occasions; and that he be not led away to neglect his home and family, or to squander his earnings. Furthermore, the employer must never tax his work people beyond their strength, or employ them in work unsuited to their sex and age. His great and principal duty is to give every one what is just.

Cartel's, Trusts, S***e Owners all have the same underlying philosophy, enrich yourself at the expense of the workers prosperity, health and life. Without economic freedom which comes from adequate compensation for labor, we are all s***es.

The video was interesting but it ignores the other individuals who fraught, died, inspired, dedicated finances, and work to build a nation where everyone who is willing to become educated and put effort forth will prosper. Frankly, b****s played a part but only a part.
Yes, we need to recognize each race and all those who made contributions. Asians helped build the railroads, the Scott and Irish were bridge builders. The Germans brought physicians and nurses. Mathematics came to us from the French and Spanish, Architecture came from Italians... This only a sampling and honestly, I have grown tired of b****s insisting that they alone accomplished everything worthwhile in the USA. So, although I appreciate your link I find it lacking in facts and credit to all the people who worked and died for the building of America.

A great many white people died freeing the s***es in the USA. It's been addressed and r********ns in blood have been paid. But s***ery still exists around the world. Some call it c*******m or that religion of peace.

When we look at all the businesses going all over the world, where ever the labor costs are cheapest, the Americas had hundreds of years of free labor which enriched all segments of the country. You did not have to own s***es to benefit from a thriving economy.
