I so well remember those C*******ts of the early 50s talking about ends and means. I did study them hard back then and even gave a heckling speech in Speech Class about why the class should become C*******ts. I had seen so much about the 20s and 30s college students in the US being useful i***ts and found that I was talking to a class of them. I panicked and asked the group if they understood a number of things I had been talking about but they remained quiet so I decided I had picked a WRONG topic to get heckled about.

Ends justifying means have always sounded so left leaning to me.
