I was in the Army during the Carter Administration, at least in part. The military was hamstrung by Carter, underfunded and unable to function optimally. He has the distinction of being the last Democrat I ever v**ed for, (excepting one county commissioner.)
The rape of the Social Security fund was begun by LBJ. It may have continued under Carter and Reagan, (both of whom had tax and spend Democrat controlled Houses to contend with,) and the government can't spend any money until the House okays it.

I always wondered why all the lawyers always v**ed for the Democrats. Now I know. Democrats ignore and/or circumvent the rule of law. When the bill becomes due, all Americans will agonize over the reduction in benefits, increased fees, increased tax rates which will occur as the value of the dollar falls to extreme lows. When the government is called upon to pay its bills from the treasury the dilemma will become apparent. US will no longer be able to sell its treasury bonds on the open market, print money or pay its bills with a weakened dollar. It will have to pull its gold out of Fort Knox to pay its debts.

Did anyone except Obama fill a plane with cash and endanger the citizens of his/her country to deliver it? Did world leader other than Obama feel the need to do this secretly in the dead of night without alerting his congress/parliament and citizens lest they rightfully object?
