Answer me this when does responsibility take over from unprotected sex. Agree with you a woman who is a victim of incest or rape or a medical condition has every right to choose. You bring up not being able to care for a child. Then maybe women need to think about this before having sex. AND NOT LIKE THERE ARE NOT SAFE DRUGS TO PREVENT IT.

Does the Christian god h**e women so much he/she would force a woman to conceive a child she can not take care of. A child of rape or incest.

The owners of Hobby Lobby are employers not s***e owners.
I personally will not purchase anything from this chain. All women should boycott this chain.

The issue here is not contraception but the right of the federal government to tell a company how to run their business. Hobby Lobby offers their employees health care but not contraceptive coverage which violates their Christian conscience. Since when is health care a "right"? Most companies used to offer health care as an incentive to bring in good, qualified applicants. That obviously has changed due to ACA. Look at all these companies that are now reducing former full-time employees hours so they can be in obedience to the new law. Who's getting screwed here? Who is going to provide these now part-time employees with health care coverage? Will the ACA cover them and at what cost and to whom?

But the greedy owner support the manfucture and distrubution and sale of the products you don't like.

Besides, some religions are against contraception, so maybe conservatives should just prohib sex.

And be ridiculed for even more stupid intrusions into peoples personal lives

Good thing your beliefs don't intrude into others lives (say, like forcing someone to pay for an a******n who doesn't believe in them). I doubt they were aware that the fund contained those stocks, most people only look at risk factors on funds, not the actual companies they contain. Don't be surprised if the funds Hobby Lobby use are changed soon.

I simply point out the greed factor. If they are so against contraception, why support the companies that make contraceptives?

Too bad you can't get that old brain of yours to function

Where did you get your info that the Hobby Lobby folks support companies(y) that manufacture contraceptives?

I would imagine contraceptives are only one of 100 different pharmaceuticals they produce. It's quite entirely possible that they are not even aware that that company even makes contraceptives. Is that the best thing the liberals can find to write an article about demeaning conservatives. Well it does go along with one of Alinsky's rules. - Make them adhere to their own rules.

Steve,

I assume the companies make a thousand drugs besides contraceptives, including drugs to improve fertility, and solve erectile dysfunction problems, plus a number of other hormone related drugs. They may even make drugs to help keep women who want to have children from having miscarriages. No company makes only one class of drugs, the research costs are way too high to do that. I am sure that the liberals are horrified about the anti miscarriage drugs, so they would not invest in those companies for that reason. Right?

Read the product portfolio of the companies in question, then decide.
There is no problem in making smart invests, but it is hypocrisy to whine b***h and moan about religious rights when you profit from the products you abhor

Hobby Lobby is not preventing their employees from using contraceptives or having an a******n-like procedure. They just don't feel like they should be forced to pay for it. What you do with your body is your business. But when you make me pay for it, you have made it my business.

The rights of a corporation cannot trump the rights of the workers.

if the workers feel strongly enough, they should walk out and shut HL down for a day at a time, until the i***ts realize business is more important than ideology

The Mother Jones article in the link specified $73,000,000 investments in companies making contraceptives. That figure is not explicitly for birth control. For all we know, maybe only a million or two of business is for birth control, and the balance for medical services they're okay with or think they're beneficial. Boycotting those drug companies would cause more harm than good in their estimation.

This is something Liberals will never get. when it concerns other people it is our business. If you want to get pregnant then you pay for it not me.

A hole in their legal case. I guess the old adage is true:
"None is righteous, no, not one" (Rom 3:10). So, despite claiming a sword of righteousness in this case, it appears it is merely a cloak to hide.
