A 76-year-old Auburn, Massachusetts man Richard Ahlstrand had spotted a black bear in his backyard last Thursday around his bird feeders. On Friday, he went to fill up his bird feeders, and as a precaution, he took his shotgun. Sure enough, the black bear showed up and started to chase the old man. The man aimed his shotgun at the bear and shot it, k*****g the bear before it dropped to the ground.

Now, he’s facing charges for illegally k*****g the bear, illegally baiting the bear, illegal possession of a firearm and failure to secure a weapon. Because he “murdered” the bear, police confiscated his shotgun as well as 2 others he had in his possession.

Darn it, we all know that Massachusetts is trying to out do Connecticut with gun laws. Wait, who knew they had passed those laws already. Obama hasn't even been there lately, has he?

Damned old man, has no right to try to stay alive so he can find out if the committee of 15 in Obamacare will allow him any kind of medical treatment. What right do we have to feed birds? Actually I have a neighbor who feeds squirrels. The squirrels live in my trees and use my house as a highway to get to her fenced back yard to eat and now and then I shoot one of them with a BB gun. Sure glad I don't live in Texas or Massachusetts.

Hi, Roy. You'd probably be O.K. in Texas, but avoid the northeast at all costs. Most of the nation's insane live in the northeast, some on the west coast. Unfortunately for those of us who still retain a bit of sanity, we are RULED by the seriously insane who belong in insane asylums, and when we finally do something about them, I hope all get committed to one.

There's no doubt in my mind that these are the End Times.

Tasine, Your heading said it all "Insanity rules - the sane are royally screwed!" & I don't think Old Roy is from Texas?
And as for avoiding the N.E., I avoid anything East of the Big Muddy!

I came out of hiding the other day, just for kicks.

As for the Big Muddy, I can say that I had a heart ablation surgery by the best man in that region over 10 years ago and it certainly wasn't in Texas.

We are screwed in so many ways. An old Army buddy of mine keeps saying that he is surrounded by those insane people in New Jersey. He provides some examples now and then but he is considered insane by most to the people there, also.

Actually, I communicate with a guy from east Iowa about every day and we agree on all things political and are both fans of Kansas U. basketball.

I guess you are completely bombed or just nuts, probably both.
Your mindless rambling makes no sense what so ever.
And I have to tell you that I have traveled this country extensively and lived in a number of states and Anything East of the big muddy royally sucks!! And As for Texas it is as they say "Texas is like a whole different Country" Not unlike going into the large metro areas of the N.E. that is like being in a community of foreign whacko's.
Check these out! They might just help normal sober people understand your ramblings.

Wish I knew where to start re this rant about nothing.

I am a native Texan. Spent all my working years in California, currently live in Arizona by choice. I am one who DOES judge states, cities, political parties, politicians, and v**ers on TWO things, precious little else:
Individual freedoms coupled with responsibility
Quality of decency of the people involved

Any entity that doesn't measure up to those two positive qualities, never gets my v**e.

A state that stifles freedoms and exists by virtue of rules, regulations, and stifling laws is a no-starter in my list of "likes".

A state that k**ls jobs by virtue of rules, regs, stifling laws is a no-starter.

A state that cannot handle its affairs without taxing the citizens to death is a no-starter.

A state that demands to control every aspect of every one's life is a no-starter.

A state that is a welfare haven fits all of the above and is absolutely a no-starter.

A state that is known for its criminal activity, especially when the criminals are not punished is an absolute no-starter.

Every state from time to time might seem to fit some of these characterizations, and every state from time to time fit none of these characterizations, but PRECIOUS FEW FIT NONE OF THESE CHARACTERIZATIONS MOST OF THE TIME, AND those states are to be lauded. Texas is one of those states. Arizona is one of those states. Oklahoma is one of those states.

Illinois has never and will never be one of those states. N.J. has never and will never be one of those states. NV never has been and never will be one of those states. California has never and will never be one of those states.

You can rant as long as you wish, but so far you haven't the authority to stop people from applauding states that do good work rather than bad work.

About king obomba:

Could this be Che Chardo on drugs, makes one wonder. If it isn't Che, this person is indeed in need for some physic help as if Che doesn't need it too.

The writing reminds me of someone from the Northeast trying to write like they were someone from the south. Having been around southerners for years I can tell you even the rednecks (Hold my beer and watch this!) can articulate their thoughts in a much more coherent manner.

king obama would be entertaining if he wrote in english rather than the obscure dialect he has chosen to use. He may have even made some points but who can tell?

If texas is so great every one will be on their way to the lone star state. I'm am an american by birth. As mostamericans are ,I'm sure u wouldn't want every one to move to texas just like I wouldn't want the wonderful country I enjoy in the finger lakes reigon of ny state to move here. Having said that ,I have nothing agen texas or arizona or any other state. Its not the people its the ones who think their in charge that's the prob. Read the story on infowars about how their trying to teach our kids this crap ,even after it was exposed I have yet to here you texans reply about them teaching this propaganda to your kids. Now cumo tried to take our guns. We stood up and pushed back say what u will but cumo failed. We stopped him flat. Again were just ordinary people. The same every where you in texas r no different. The powers to be are patient. Its not us that they will change but our kids is where their focus is. If texas n arizona etc was any different ur populations would explode overnight ,literally a mass migration to yalls states would happen. But this is not the case most americans like me will choose to stay and fight in there home states. Again waiting to here u texans push back agen this s**t being taught in your schools

Might as well put your location as the finger lakes of New York state. Your writing style still sucks, why not go ahead and use standard English. Writing like a dumb ass makes you appear to be a dumb ass, is that what you want? I have found other upstate New Yorkers' to be articulate and well educated, either your are playing dumb or you are as you advertise.

The fact that YOU haven't HEARD any Texans complaining about teaching what shouldn't be taught (I don't know what you refer to in fact), doesn't mean it isn't happening. Someone with your knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. probably wouldn't understand what was being said anyway. I, for one, speak up about it. I have a friend in Texas who is on a school board and I stay in contact with her re what is and is not being taught in her district. Do YOU do the same where you live?

I don't know who you intend to talk with, but let me assure you I am not here to defend any particular state or part of the country. I am here to defend the t***h and the US Constitution. Nothing else at this time matters one whit to me. You may have noticed, however, that many firms ARE moving to Texas, especially those who produce fire arms because most in Texas have and want firearms and they don't object to everyone having the right to protect himself. Also Texas provides the freedom to work without union thugs breathing down one's neck, individuals to live without being burdened with state income tax, etc. If a state is going to hurt a business, it is insane for the business to remain in that state, huh? - such as California, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, all of which have lost prime business to Texas because Texas WANTS their business, and it wants their business to grow, not dwindle.

What you don't seem to understand is that good business and well run states are symbiotic - each helps the other and both know it and both are grateful for it. Citizens who are aware of some business acumen KNOW this and appreciate their states maintaining an atmosphere that is conducive to steady employment, and steady income.

Another thing you don't seem to understand is that a person who writes with all the capability of a second grader doesn't carry a lot of weight in the "influence" department of any topic.
