Rummi's point, if I'm not mistaken, is the apparent imperfection that would naturally arise in 4 different accounts coupled with the fact the compilers of scripture knew that and included it anyway is precisely what makes the Gospels so perfect...they're genuine.

Rummi picks his titles in a way that makes sense to him and gets verbose from there...I wouldn't be on too much of a hair-trigger with him.
Rummi's I point /I , if I'm not mistaken, is the ... (show quote)

TY, BM. There was a movie back in the 60s that was very popular where every witness described what happened in exactly the same way, "lithe and fierce like a tiger." This is what led investigators to believe there was an actual coverup. Eye witnesses are thought of as the least reliable of evidence. Their testimony nearly always conflicts with other accounts and the facts. But not all are dismissable. Some see and retain better than others, even perfectly. Which version is right about the empty grave"? It was empty and Christ was seen alive is all that matters.

Satan lives, (and thrives) in the hearts of those who mock and dismiss the Lord God Almighty, and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. The left enjoys a personal relationship with the father of lies and evil

I probably qualify as being on the Left, though I detest such labels: critical thinking has no ideology. I do not and never would "mock and dismiss the Lord God Almighty, and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ." Stop painting pictures in Black and White, only the unhinged frame them.

Duh!! Ishtar was a Babylonian god, and there was never any “pagan” Ishtar holiday. Christ was not crucified on Passover. He was crucified 2 days later.
Where do you get all your crap?
And, yes, everyone knows Jesus wasn’t born on Dec. 25th, so spare us that!
Jesus doesn’t h**e Easter! Why would he? That’s when most Christians go to church, fer crissakes!

Ah, tongue-in-cheek, nice.

Not "for Once" but thank you. This openness was what I was hoping about you.

Oh my goodness...Im about ready to lose it because Easter falls on April Fools Day. Seriously....what does one do if they even remember it's April Fools Day? Play a silly joke on someone? Just goes to show how dang bored.you are even getting into a stupid thing like this!

Obviously you do not like the showy, made-to-get-attention nature of the title. My point was to show the connection was void. Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are replete with atheist posts claiming the Fool's Day with Easter coincidence is tells the whole story of the Christian Myth, mocks the ludicrous nature of the claim that Christ rose from the dead. That was way I phrased it as I did.

No Ma-am. Your point was that because there four different points of view that the scriptures were false. You don't get off deflecting what you meant. Mike

That's exactly how I read it too Mike. Glad someone agrees with me.

Ishatar is a pagan holiday of fertility; not only of mammals but of plants. It is the rebirth of the world or actually the Sun. It is celebrated in the spring because that's when all life begins from seed. It celebrates the blessing of a fruitful year. You guys would appreciate its celebration as it was the time to plant your own seed.
