Yes an how about the children in other states, who are suspended from school for eating a pop-tart to a gun shaped treat. We should be educating our children on the respect guns deserve.
Because without guns we'd all be speaking with an English accent, or not even here; as Loise L'Amour said, "People are no better than they have to be." As far as being a 'law-abiding citizens' People as a group, are a dangerous bunch esp. since the intellectual level of a group goes down as the number of people in the group increases. (Can you say mob mentality)

Our left leaning 'friends' will have trouble understanding what you said about the way we would be using the English language, if not for guns. They don't even realize how hungry out ancestors would have been without them. Louis L'Amour was one of my favorite authors in my teen years and then I shifted to James Bond stories along with the ones about those detectives who hauled around .45 automatics to protect themselves from bad guys. Today we need to do that to protect ourselves from a different set of tyrannical people.
