Hello My name is Sue. I retired a few years ago after 16 years with Bass Pro Shops. Our 3 sons blessed us with 6 awesome grandsons and 1 beautiful granddaughter. I have never been on a forum before but this looked to be interesting.

Welcome, Sue. The debate here gets hot, heavy, and personal at times. There is, however, a broad exchange of opinions.

Welcome aboard nice lady!! This can be a roudy bunch at times and most are very opinionated; tempers occasionally flair somewhat - but it's all good. It won't take long to figure out who is who and if you have a quick wit and a thick skin you will have fun. I am retired Military, my wife of 50 years and I have 2 grown kids, 8 grands and 3 great grands.
Oh, by the way, can you use your Bass Pro retiree discount to get me a good deal in the sporting goods dept? LOL!
Hope you have a great Monday and I wish you and yours health and much success.

To start you off. When you said "My name is Sue" all I could think of was the old Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue"

Thank you! I have been reading some of the post and must say this looks like what I'm looking for. You speak of many years with one special person in your life. I to have been with the Father of my 3 sons for 54 years. Boy what a ride I must say but wouldn't want it any other way. Again thank you for your kind words. Now I have to get off here and take care of some chores. You too have a blessed day.
OMG I had forgot about that song and I grew up listening to it. My twin brother was a huge fan of Johnny Cash matter of fact his name was Johnny also. You are the second one on the thick skin warning. I am sure this is going to be interesting reading. One thing I am not tolerate of is stupidity and that is all I see coming from the left. So with that being said I best get my chores done. Have a blessed day. And thanks for the response.

Well, hello Sue! Bass Pro Shops, huh? I've been in the ones in Grapevine, Tx. and Oklahoma City several times, and the one in Springfield Mo. a couple. If you worked at any of those, I'm sure you would recognize me if you saw me! I was the redneck guy!๐
And I have a new grandbaby due any day now. Don't know if it's gonna be an innie, or an outie. My son, and daughter in law wanted a surprise. It doesn't matter to me at all. Daisy makes Red Ryder BB guns in pink now too.
Hang around a while. Lots of good folks here, and just enough idjuts to keep it rolling.

As with Miss Sue, use "quote reply" when replying to a post and all here will know who you are replying to. That said, welcome and enjoy the ride!
SGM B out.

Hope you enjoy the site. It took us a while to get familiar with the presentation, so I will remind you to use quote reply when answering anyone.
Yes, my wife SWMBO and I have been married for over a half a century, but it seems like just yesterday (maybe I am getting senile, that could be it) We work with abused kids and train therapy dogs for this kind of work. I am NPP (No Propaganda Please), and my wife is SWMBO(She Who Must Be Obeyed) She has also been a professional dog trainer for almost a half century. We use the same NPP but she usually remembers to sign SWMBO to hers. Have fun here.
Warning I have a warped and strange sense of humor, don't let it worry you.

Hello Sue. If you retired from Bass Pro Shops I probably paid a good bit of your salary. Welcome to OPP.
