It appears that the writer of the article, along with much of the main stream media are ignorant of that rather amazing gentleman who lived about 2,600 years ago, who is known today as Aesop.
The bizarre claims made about the sequester, the even more bizarre "news" reports about g****l w*****g or c*****e c****e (or wh**ever it's being called this week) or about everything being the fault of conservatives have turned out not to be factual. Fancy that!
Our man Aesop provided us with a model for this sort of behavior in his fable, The Boy Who Cried 'Wolf'. The more the media and our political leaders (?) cry wolf the less they are believed, and the carefully constructed house of cards they've built to convince the average person that only they know what to do will begin to crumble.
Personally I can't wait to see the ruins of their dreams created by such hubris.
