Brian is aware of his ancestral roots. He just h**es their beliefs. Its quite the dilemma for a. Atheist jew. Very ironic indeed
I hardly h**e my ancestral roots. I just put the Bible in the same category as Grimm's Fairy Tales. Interesting folklore, sometimes grim, but not something I wish to use to guide my daily life. If you want to guide your life by primitive folklore that is your business. Be my guest.
I am not an atheist. I cannot fathom something being created from nothing. However I do not believe that humans come with owner's manuals like a Chevrolet or a big screen TV.
Thank you kind messenger. Your words are like mercy. The mercy of God. What could be better ?

I love your screen name and it's become quite appropriate in this forum. I must admit I was not quite sure of your intent ions at first. However your bravery comes quite naturally. And your screen name is blind and confusing for the principalities you're taking on. Good luck and Gods blessings are extended your way. Many took time before singing Amazing Grace.

Jesus was constantly reprimanding the Pharisees (religious leaders) for their judgmental piety. The "religious" of that day crucified him. They thought they were getting rid of him. But He died so that we can have the choice to live. Then He came back to life to show us Who He is. God's Son.
I am sorry you don't believe in anything. But check out the historian Josephus. He confirms many stories in the Bible. Archeology has proven many. Like finding many saltwater fish fossils on top of Mt Arrarat and other mountains around the world. Just a tiny example.
Creationism vs evolution. Hm. A God creating everything opposed to nothing in the middle of nothing creating something. Oh, I'm sorry, an error. I mean, a big boom - an exlposion of stuff floating in space eVENTUally created all things living - in intricate detail. So you without faith, tell me this: where did the stuff flying around in space come from?
God's Word also says, "Only a fool says in his heart there is no God."
But isn't grand that we all have a choice and freedom to believe as we believe? At least for the immediate future.

Another blind religious fanatic. Does that mean you play the piano well? Hope that's not over your head.
You make unwarranted assumptions based entirely on your self-righteousness. You'd do best to start over.
I never said there was no god. There is a god, just not the one that Christians, Muslims, Jews etc. believe in. At least the Christian Bible does admit that god is love, but it also describes god as jealous and wrathful, which god is not.
It's true that I don't believe in anything. Believing isn't knowing. Most people are very careless about believing unproven things. Like the Big Bang THEORY that you mention. Why do you suppose that it's still called a Theory instead of a Fact after all these years since it was proposed? Doesn't the concept of an entire universe popping into being from a point smaller than a single atom disturb your sense of reason even in the slightest? You seem pretty gullible to me.
Fossil fish on Ararat. Okay.... do you know how many millions of years it takes for bones to fossilize? I guess not, huh? Ever heard of tectonic plate shift and the pushing up of mountains?
"Jesus died to save us" is priest talk. You believe it without a shred of proof and that's that, right? Right. You also believe all the other stuff they tell you, just because they say so.
Please wait to respond to this until you have a mind of your own. I'd appreciate it.

You unbeliever's must be miser's. You think about money more than Christian's do. If you knew your facts, the Bible says " It is better to give than to receive."
You all have a like concept, however, it is other peoples money you love to give away. Your game is to store up treasures on earth rather than heaven.
You are simply so possessed Apatoo that you don't see that your life IS being guided by the bible. You yourself are an actual bible prophecy.
Just listen to what 2 John 1:7 says.... " For many deceivers have entered into the world, who confess NOT that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist .... "
So you see Apatoo, your very existence was foreseen in scripture. You are the deceiver and because you deny The King you are anti-Christ.

Bill Maher is the negative result of the invention of the mirror. You see, every day when he looks in the mirror, it causes a deep anger within him. What he sees in that mirror is pitiful example of the human species. He sees a face that no woman on earth would find attractive. He sees a nose big enough for eagles to roost upon. He sees a physical stature that couldn't even protect him from brisk wind. He knows that even the average woman could punk him in a fight. His only available means of self defense is his mouth and the poison that spews from it. His venom is the built up self hatred of himself because he knows he is the ugly duckling. So like a snake he strikes with his mouth. And though he may be a celebrity and enjoy all the perks of popularity, he still has to look in that mirror. And the image he sees is a curse upon him for as long as he lives.

You criticize his nose, his face, his physique. What else?
As far as a woman being able to "punk" him, is this what you think of as masculine - being able to beat up a woman?
I personally think he is attractive and bears a slender built - one that leads to good health. He has a good mind and quick wit - that which you are sorely lacking.
I would call your reaction "jealous."
