Hi 2bitap,

Compared to much routinely posted material that is truly objectionable (depending on your political affiliation and degree of sensitivity), your "content," if not "normal," is decidedly deplorable, IMHO.

I hope that doesn't offend you. I believe there are many of us on OPP who have the honor of fitting nicely into the basket of Deplorables.

Personally, I've never had any desire to be normal.

Everyone who contributes to the ongoing revelation of unfolding information provided on OPP has a need to express themselves, and your posts are decidedly more informative and less objectionable than those poor souls who will never fit into our basket.

Anyone who isn't even mildly angry at the current political climate in our fair land truly doesn't understand the situation.

IOW, unless or until the Admin. reins you in, - keep on keeping on.

There will be a solution. May as well contribute.

There's really no "normal ". There's just average. Dad how many people strive so hard to be average.

Indeed, your last point may just be what vette lover was referring to. It IS up to us True American Patriots to do what have and need to do to get these jokers to work for us like they were elected to do,if we can't do that through proper channels our options are the few described! not a pretty site.in my opinion most if not ALL are pretty much useless anyway to our Republic for which it stands ( if we can keep it ) as so eloquently put by Ben Franklin.

catch ya on the flipside.

No worries. It all works out.

There's a few here, who after 5 years, still haven't posted a thought of their own.

OJ got away with murder using the race card and money. Hollywood and Clintons get away with murder. This country is a mess. People get off with very little time, while people sit in jail for LIFE for selling pot. Crazy.

I agree with this point But see above.one has to view the quote to see it in its entirety.this is odd even viewing the whole quote I'm not seeing what was posted unless you have to parse it out seperated?never seen this before. on any forum I frequent.

The whole quote is " An ant can move a mountain, but only one grain of sand at a time."

The quote is mine. And I have long held this opinion.

In other words, think of the mountain as an ant would, made up of countless grains of sand. Now think of the opposition, as the mountain, only made up of millions of people. The ant will only move the grains of sand it knows it can move. It doesn't bother with the ones it can't. The ant will pick the sand
( fight ) it knows it will move (win ). Opinions, like the sand of the mountain, can only be moved, or changed, one grain or one person at a time. But ants, unlike people, know only they must move
the mountain, people understand why.

I don't follow the crowd, never have nor is it ever going to happen.
simply put I want what IS best for this country.

in case anyone wonders I do belong to a party but even that doesn't matter because I have never v**ed a straight ticket in my life and that won't change.whomever looks and seems( after being thoroughly investigated)to be able to do the job( what ever it may be) normally or traditionally gets the nod( v**e). this is fact.
additionally I personally got over k**lery losing the same day it was heard.
all that came to mind were the words " deal with it ".
after studying both it was realized neither were acceptable for our country.
I've been studying the Donald since I heard he bought Mara lago for a dollar.
after seeing his apprentice show many times he telegraphed what he was about many times in irritating detail.
HRC was never an option with all the baggage not to mention crimes!
another fact: the last time this country had/ elected a businessman for president ( Herbert Hoover)
we had the Great Depression.

I have to wonder if you might not lean a bit left since you don't agree with Archie and Edith, like I do. In their introductory song they always said we could use a man like Herbert Hoover, again. Too many people, especially of the left lean, think that Hoover caused that depression although it was a worldwide one and who was the US president couldn't have done that alone.

As to v****g for either of those people, I decided in 2000 that if she ever got nominated by the Democrats I would v**e for anyone, not her. I feared that woman for a long time and because of that had to v**e for Trump who I didn't want but was much more for him than any of the others who ran against him. I have decided that he is doing rather a good job considering how many people who lean too far left are working their butts off to make him look bad.

I have always been very proud about never having v**ed a straight ticket. However, my hand has never come close to the Democrat candidate since 1968. I had too change over in 1972 because the Dems nominated an admitted socialist and haven't nominated anyone but socialists since that time.

rest easy,All in the Family was one of my faves.never really paid attention to the opening just heard what I'll call a jingle.
when growing up my father used to say I like Ike a lot,on the other hand mom was an investigative crime reporter
in Chicago, fact is the paper was owned by a city council member so at the time it was and still is no doubt a democratic
town. I however am the eldest of five, now four thanks to some lousy decision making.
a republican politician who also need a kidney t***splant took the one he should have had?he was a veteran but even they don't get the respect due them. (okay I should have left out the sentence preceding)
I quickly realized making my own decisions to think, v**e and do the right thing according to conscience was my best bet however
attempting going Independent would have put me at odds with everyone including myself being there are really
no independents out there worth their salt,I mean Bernie Sanders? give me a break.
it is in fact true that the depression only happened on Hoovers watch and was no more responsible for it than you or I.
the federal reserve seemed to think their plan born in 1913 couldn't fail but fail it did in grand style.
as stated I have had the Donald in focus for a long time the left is doing everything they can to stump the man I concur.
as for me leaning left its possible but highly unlikely. I dislike what is going on with both the president who truly believes he knows it all( among other things)and the extreme l*****ts that obviously call him on everything he does ,with all due respect I think we should admit a whole lot of his doings are absurd seeing that even his party is bailing on him{ blaming dems doesn't cut it}.they Must know things that us common folk don't and none are trying to help.they're just propping him up until they can get other things crammed down our throats as well as line their own bank accounts.it is sad really because it hurts every Patriotic citizen in ways we will all find out sooner than later if the extremists get their way.this president has hurt my family and me in more ways than one,not only is the family split but so is the country. I fear civil unrest could be a reality .
remembering how things were in those dark days with dr King was shot and the infamous Malcolm X.( just another reason to r**t)
I may have grown up there but now call Florida home. I put my time in the Tundra up there. great music town though.

Any politician that can only be elected by turning Americans against Americans is a danger to both the country and its citizens.

highly overpaid for what the circus does not do IMHO. I could go on but elect to try and be civil, heaven knows I've created topics that were and likely are still controversial. I can see by what's been posted nobody is going to even look for a common ground in this melee. I have my reasons for wanting to stay / remain sane in what many are calling
insanity at its finest. I do have a good attachment or as some call meme.this could be the time to use it.

Thanks for that cartoon. The problem in America today was predicted by the Framers. They divided the powers between the branches in a very specific way, but the politicians could not live with that division so they changed it. Now we have the same Government that dictators have been running for centuries. What Congress was given was the task of doing all of the thinking for the Government and the ability to pay the bills. Look to find these two abilities in Article One; Section 7. You will have to squint your left eye, and bit your tongue slightly to be able to see it. Good luck. PS The G*******ts are the Monarchs of old. They never died out.
